While the subject is silly. Stereotypical chracters is part of the art style. And fighting games revel in it.
The series isn't meant for kids. And it's not terrible to want sex appeal in gaming. Fighters are inherently about bravado & badassery.
I saw Haywire with that MMA fighter....really good action flick. But, imagining that movie with the lead played by a less attractive female....no thanks.

I think people fail to realize that Nintendo financial will....doesn't translate into more games for hardcore gamers. And a glut of Mario, Zelda & Metroid...oh Donkey Kong too; aren't going to change that.
They will continue to appeal to casuals....who I turn will likely not be moved to buy a new HD console. They're not in it for the amazing stories & HD graphics.
Fun is fun. But hardcore gamers....those of us who buy 2-3 games every mon...

So how is this not closure? The universe at war is over, the ability to travel to other planets is extremely limited. FTL ships perhaps being ramped up in production now that the relays are gone.

I'm not even being arrogant; just that most movie & game endings (sci-fi or fantasy I'm talking about), either go with cliche or underdevelop chracters....making ending irrelevant.
Mass Effect 3 ending was great closure for the story. Not perhaps for individuals. But, why would it?! Whenever I'm at the movies and the ending goes through a "what happens now&quo...

Accept that Jesus....I mean Sheppard was always going to end with this type of ending that we got. And it made sense....it fit the story, it just wasn't the happy go lucky ending everyone thought.

But their are 5 difficulty settings. QTE can be turned off. And this ng3 has the best story.
But it's a different game for sure. And let's face it. Those weapons are ripe for dlc from company viewpoint. Those douches know they can make money on those! Their equal to new fighters in a Crapcom game.

I'm speculating that weapons are dlc.
And if so...that's horrible. But it wouldn't surprise me. Just like mp. Mp doesn't belong in NG. Co-op is pushing it. But competitive mp?! They added this to create a reason to hinder trading it in.

The story is a big improvement apparently.
Everytime I read an user post in other forums (neogaf) I think I got it figured that this games blows.
Then I watch vids and I'm excited to play this likely hot mess.
I notice nobody uses the cover system that's been said to be crap. (due to know dedicated button for snapping in/out of cover).....that's my biggest concern. And glitches.
