You have to remember that MS were willing to DRM us into the ground. That they have lied on numerous occasions concerning NSA and could easily change their ToS back to DRM hell once their install base becomes large enough for them to force it on us once again.

I offer this plausible future - Ninny might simply be past the point of relevance in terms of competitve online infrastructure. I suspect they see a future where the other 2 go full on DRM always online. And then Ninny can try to leverage that as the console for those who don't want this.
Only problem is Sony didn't comply. And now MS have back pedalled completely. Leaving Ninny nowhere to go.
They refuse to use the heaps of cash to create a console...
I'm certain that both Sony & MS didn't create the share option with recorded gameplay - and not think to have a full suite of options for commentary, picture in picture etc.

While we who rationally except facts realize Sony had their eyetoy doing this stuff in its infancy years before that company came up with kinect then bought out by MS.
Trouble is - nobody really wants this stuff. Certainly not enough to consider it a selling point. Sony just saying look - kinect is marketing hype, we can do it all ourselves too. But, more importantly....it's not worth our resources to blow it up as a game changing feature.

Getting in bed with NSA is different than complying with a bare minimum as they should've done. Instead they created and fostered systems to go the extra distance for their overlords the US Gov.

Kinect 2.0 greatest potential is in targeted advertising via uploading video/audio data. This and only this is why MS tried everything anti-consumer recently.
Because unless your interested in gaming exercise...and specific genres that further that ....it's a glorified control device.

You can adjust the sensitivity. Plus it highly depends on gear. If you take all the armour options, you'll move a bit like a tank.
