Do people really want to play last Gen games on their new systems? Backwards compatability is a nice perk but I don't really see it as a game changer.
The last heavy hitter from nintendo, not the last game. Hope we're wrong. I'd like another mario game, like Galaxy or mario64 but I think that's unlikely. They've probably shifted allot of development over to NX already.
"We KNOW its not a god damned handheld...They just released the "NEW" 3DS, they aren't going to turn around and release another handheld a year later.."
Let it go dude, it's not a new system. Do you really think the new 3ds is gonna be around for 5 years?
"We don't even know if it's a handheld console or a home console."
Maybe it's both.
The new 3ds can hardly be considered a new system. More like a redesign of a current system. The new 3ds released in Japan in 2014. Late 2016 is 2 years later not one.
Sry disagreed by accident. I agree, how many ppl are buying these just because they rare and hard to find.
It's been up on walmart 3 times today. Walmart has a limit of 2. Ppl that ordered more then 2 were canceled later in the day.
It's gonna be megaman, sheik and king dedede
My local meijer had 2 pegs for ike, toon link, sonic and bowser and 1 peg for sheik, megaman and king dedede. Who knows
Ike and king dedede one peg= rare
Sheik 3 pegs = not rare
Or a ton of photoshop.
@bc_master_haze Everyone's different I guess, in my case I'm fine with driving games, but with fps I easily get motion sick. Takes me 4-5 sessions of playtime before I get used to a new fps. Could never finish golden eye or halflife 2. I couldn't even get off the beach in that world war 2 call of duty game, the one that starts out on D day.
"No 1080p, probably a choppy 30fps". Sony would have to be morons if they ever made games that ran like that on morpheus. It'll be 60fps minimum. Vr is a completely different beast. Choppy 30fps in vr would be a very uncomfortable experience. They know this. Graphical fidelity will be dialed back to achieve a minimum performance level.
The ps4 has more then enough power to run a decent vr experience. Is it going to be good as occulus rift? No, but it'll do...
I have my doubt about fps working in vr. Vr works best with cockpit or driving games. Your brain doesn't like it when it thinks you're running around but you're physically sitting in the same spot. Yeah, you're gonna get sick.
It's been said many times that most current games won't work in vr.
Have you even tried vr? Cuz it sure sounds like you haven't. If the gear vr can do a decent job of it now, using a note 4, then it sure as hell isn't 5-7 years away. The gear vr isn't a pixalated mess, it runs at 60fps and doesn't make me sick. All that running off a phone. In 2-3 years vr will be awesome.
I bought one. I've had fun playing with it. It's not ready for the masses yet, not allot of content. It needs a higher resolution screen. I thought the 2k screen in the note 4 was enough but I'm thinking 4k is the minimum. Even with a 2k display I can see the pixels. Playing a 720p movie on the gear vr looks like sd. Playing a 1080p movie doesn't look any better. Other than that it works great. The headtracking is flawless and it hasn't made sick yet. Most fps make me na...
So far I've only seen Zelda, little Mac and diddy Kong at meijer. Lots of Zelda, a few diddy Kong's and one little Mac.
The price cut is not going away. They said that to motivate ppl to buy it now. It would be silly to raise the price. I do see them selling the system at 350$ minus the bundled game.
This is just getting silly. I'm inclined to believe the gamestop email, picked up Zelda and Diddy Kong at meijer tonite.
I agree, this article is bs. If they do go download only, they could setup kiosks in stores where ppl could bring an sd card in and load a game they bought onto it. That would solve the ppl without broadband issue.
