@Ju internally it runs at 1440p on the pro, doesn't matter if its hooked up to a 4k tv or a 1080p tv. It's super sampled on a 1080p tv
I'm pretty sure it's just the base ps4 that uses dynamic resolution. The pro down samples from 1440p to 1080p on a 1080p tv.
I'm playing it on the pro with a 1080p tv and it looks and runs great.
Same, it needs it. I turned it on last night to see if it was patched for the pro and it looked worse then I remembered.
Sony would have had to put a new cpu in the pro to turn a 30fps game into a 60fps one, but then none of the games would work. They'd basically be starting a new Gen.
I think the pro is great, don't regret buying it one bit. Just wish they would have added something ingame to show if its pro enabled. Xcom 2 has a pro patch, but I have no idea what they did.
To call the nes classic a console is a stretch , it's a novelty item. It's hard to find because, as usual for Nintendo, they underproduced them.
Who gives a crap about the nes classic. It's a hot item because of scalpers and it's only 60$.
I don't think anyone is buying a pro to play old ps3 games.
I needed another ps4 so I picked up the pro. Plan on getting a 4k tv later on. Supersampling really improves image quality. Biggest difference I've seen is in tlou. Looks really solid running at 1800p/60fps.
I don't know what they did with the Netflix app, but image quality is really good. Maybe it's my imagination. I did some testing with other devices running netflix and it looks much sharper.
I find it hard to believe Nintendo can fit XB1 power into a handheld. Its a pipedream. 1Tf tops, no way it's hitting 1.4.
I've waited 6 months now
I'm sure they'll release a Switch xl at some point.
Most kids these days have tablets. The form factor of the Switch is pretty close to a tablet. I don't see a problem.
The 3ds needs to die, those low res/quality screens were bad 6 years ago.
250$ is the magic number, 300$ tops
I disagree, they pretty much dumped support for the wii u a few years ago and shifted over to nx. I think they learned there lesson from the wii u in that they need a solid lineup of games in the first year to be successful. On the other hand I don't see much 3rd party support unless it starts selling like hotcakes.
I'd like to know how much other countries get.
Gotta get those clicks
Top? The light is in the back when you hold it. You don't see the light unless you flip it up.
Welcome to the internet:)
Resolution matters, but a good pixel fill-rate can go a long way to reduce sde.
Anyone notice how the lcd projectors have hardly any sde. Because they have excellent pixel fill-rate.
The higher fps is nice but the aa is pretty bad after you get used to 4k mode. Some scenes look grainy in high fps mode.
