The slim is happening at some point. The whole purpose of a slim version is to reduce manufacturing costs. A 14nm apu uses less power and requires less cooling. A cheaper slim = more sales.
She's in vault 81, gotta do some quests to get her. When you first meet her she looks like a Mr handy robot
Unless they add a 4k bluray player, there is no reason for the ps4 neo to cost more then 400$. The leaked upgrades don't add up to that much extra cost.
Turning permanently invisible and crappy framerate are the only problems I've encountered so far.
Playing on ps4 btw
I think it"s the friggin fog. Hopefully it'll get patched soon.
As a ps4 owner, I'd be more likely to go for an upgraded xbox vs a slim
He didn't say it wasn't happening. He said if they're gonna upgrade he wants a big upgrade not a small one.
You cared enough to comment on it.
So ms and Sony are upgrading their systems bc of the NX, yeah sure.
So what we're suposed to feel grateful nintendo released games on their system?
I think bc is a little iffy at this point considering recent leaks of wii u ports coming to nx.
Sure blame 3rd parties for Nintendos failure.
You don't know why it did so poorly? My brother bought one at launch. It literally sat in his closet for 2 years, no games cuz nintendo didn't know how to make games in hd. It got good games later on but it was already to late.
Phase out the base ps4? Not this early, if they can start producing the base ps4 apu at 14nm and release a slim at maybe 250$ they'd sell a whole lot more of em then the ps4 neo.
You made some excellent points.
The leak was referring to how easy it is to port 3rd party ps4/xbox one games to the NX.
It's possible, I'm thinking the slim will come out around fall.
Excellent point!
On a side note, the patent says it's got its own processor and a memory card slot. It sounds more like new new 3ds then a straight up controller.
I highly doubt Nintendo would ever sell add on boxes to boost performance. The "supplemental devices" referred to in the patent are simply the portable gaming side of the system. For instance, multiple ds like devices that can connect to the home console, but instead of being a drag on the system they'll carry some of the workload.
Probably saving it till the NX comes out.
The Nx has been rumored to get a Mk8 port.
