You’re making a lot of assumptions. 49 million users are still on ps4. That’s like 130ish million on PlayStation.
Weren’t the original steam machines made by 3rd party? The os was poor at the time and the machines were expensive. At the right price this is a much better product. I’ll never buy it, but it’s a cute little box.
Costco employees in Japan make around 10$ an hours. A region locked PS5 should have happened years ago. It’s not desperation on Sony’s part selling the PS5 at a fair price in Japan.
Which one is better might just be a matter of taste. I tried starting Tsushima a few times but the war story and the big bad Mongols didn’t really resonate with me. Loving Yotei. If you only have time for one why not play the prettier more refined version. I’ve played a lot of open world games and Yotei’s is effortless.
It’s not exclusive to switch 2. It’s the worst selling Mario release in Japan. Lazy port, basically a switch 1 game with pro patch on switch 2.

Quick resume is over rated when the ps5 loads so fast. Yotei goes from menu to In game in like 7-10 sec. No one’s buying an xbox for quick resume.
PS4 had 110 million sold in 2020. PS5 is around 80 million. Tsushima sold 2.4 million first 3 days. Yōtei is supposed to be at 2 million in 4 days. Not bad considering 30 million fewer consoles.
I bought the 8bitdo usb adapter and use one of my Dualsense controllers. Works good.
The artists at Sucker punch had a hard time transitioning to Ghost art style. Probably why it’s only 10%.
30fps feel broken at this point.

80fps is probably the average frame rate. Old TVs had to lock at 30fps or 60fps. With VRR the frame rate can vary, can’t go lower than 48fps on ps5 though.
You can use emotes to, a random helped me line it up one time with emotes because the dish was too far from the console to hear the beep sound.

It does matter. Every hit is usually followed by a flop. Switch 2 is probably the most boring console launch I’ve ever experienced. This should have released in 2023 with ToTK. It’s a Switch Pro.
