Everytime an update rolls, reports of broken systems flood the web. Maybe these consoles were already malfunctioning or maybe it just coincidence with the firmware. I sold my first 60gb PS3 for a profit and bought a 80gb model. Till this day, I never had a problem with firmware updates whatsoever. Me and my real life friends that own a PS3 (about 15 of them) and not a single one of them suffered from firmware update problems.
lol at all of those that yesterday were touting Microsoft has the Light Bringer by replacing future Xboxs that might show problems with the incoming new media disc. lol
Turns out it was the PREVIOUS update that caused malfunntioning in some older xboxs. Well, looks like it took them a while to acknowledge the problem! @_@

I just wanna add a great RPGs that rivaled Final Fantasy X in the PS2 era. Its name was Shadow Hearts 2. Great gameplay, great visuals and nice gritty story. Man, those were the days.
Skies of Arcadia was one of the best RPGs I ever played!
Jade Empire on the other hand was just meh... I think its touted as a great RPG because it was a Xbox 1 exclusive and the console needed hype. The game had some nice visuals here and there but a simple combination of moves would give you a win in most fights. The game had content for sure but it just wasnt put well together. I finished it though, in order to see an a plot twist that made no sense whatsoever...

Warhawk shoul of been a nice offer. But the increase of possible traffic on the games servers would amount costs for Sony to cover. Its better to provide single player experiences. Much cheaper.
Also, Cajun, Dead Nation is a great game! You will love it! Trust me.
As for me, nothing of interest. I have all the 5 games. :(
Now that the PS3 is called superior version, let me just flat out say that... it doesnt matter one bit!!! The game looks awesome in both consoles!

I have 3 European Accounts. If I can donwload 2 out of 5 free games. Basically, I can get all 5 on my PS3 due to multiple accounts by downloading 2 diferent games with each account. Same with the US ones, right?
So, basically, Sony is giving you 5 free PS3 games!

To me, the games are worthless because I have them all already. Still, its a nice offer to those who dont have them. But this raises a question, am I being compensated? Im a Plus member.

Fable are a true case of a game that promises 1000 things only to give you nothing more that a mere 20.
The first Fable was a good game but at times I feel that it lacked something. The all grow up experience was an hour long to get to adulthood and was poorly executed. Peter Molyneux is the HipHopGamer of developers. Hypes the #$#$ out of things but only deliver average content.
