I love how Sony fans are sure what MSFT can do or can not do, or will do or will not do when they want to paint the 720 the way they wan't in defence of PlayStation.
It's very likely to be backwards compatible. Your supposed noble tone comes from damage control.
At the very leaset the 360 will act as a 720 add-on like the HD-DVD unit. Playing 360 games o 720 using the 360's dvd drive allowing 720's enhanced features and services to be used.
I wouldn't be surprised if the 720 has some enhanced fuctionality with windows based PC's as well.
The purchase of Gaikai was a short cut for Sony with Sony knowing MSFT is a head. Using Gaikai insures Sony can at least give the appearance of being on par to average joe.
There doesn't need to be a button for sharing features. The button is actually kind of corny and sounds half baked/desperate gimmic
If enabling a share feature had to be a face button MSFT could easily swap holding the guide button to turn off hardware *with* sharing, without the cheap gimmic dedicated button on DS4

Needing a blu ray drive to be considered a multi media device is ignorant at best. Most *media* in a multi media device consists of much more formats than Blu ray discs LMAO
The BS theories of: MSFT will be paying Sony for blu ray so it can't be true is nonsense as if Sony is the master of BD or the only member of the BDA. Blu ray has used MSFT codecs you know. Windows is on Sony platforms as well. LMAO

Sounded like concept and the concpts were hyped but seem to be what others will be offering anyways.
This event matched what you would think Sony would be doing internally amoung other Sony reps trying to sell this direction.
That's really telling you something when N4G filters negative PlayStation news but story after story is about something being off by this reveal with no hardware/PS4
It's not about PS4 looks they don't believe PS4 exists. They smell concept stage hype and have every right to worry as Sony has pulled BS with every Playstation launch. For all we know they want people to think they're doing what Nintendo did(Nintendo showed the console with in days after the reveal only keeping the specs unannounced)

The reveal is the same Sony tactic they always use which is to prematurely announce PlayStation consoles to keep average JOE from adopting other consoles and to set off their fanboys christian crusades agaist the other new comers.
