To be pro Starfield is to be anti Sony? Lord have mercy
Do you know what is even better than choosing? Playing Remnant 2, Starfield and Armoured core like like I am doing
The judge at the beginning asked the FTC if they had an issue with her son working for Microsoft and they said "NO" because they know that her son gets no benefit from the trial.
The judge is not the issue. The issue is the FTC embarrassingly (painful to watch actually) failing in providing any evidence that shows how this case is harmful to consumers rather than Sony.
@Flawlessmic, I have to give you several rounds of applause for your comment. I have been laughing out loud reading the comments from console gamers on here screaming about how 30fps is unplayable. Since when? What generation did this crap start?
As with ever gen under the sun, as games start to push the boundaries of what the machines can do, 30fps will become more prevalent. If you don't like it, then get a gaming PC.
I was bored watching Microsoft&...
"I hope people here defending this conduct will keep the same attitude when others begin to buy up the industry"
If you remove your head from xbox vs ps for just one second, you would see that the consolidation of the videogame industry has been going on for years. It started in 2011 when Tencent purchased Riot Games and since then, they have been on a spending spree to the point that they are now the biggest games company in the world.
When Mic...
Define monopoly and then apply that definition to this acquisition detailing how it is a monopoly?
I was actually quite surprised how good Guardians of the galaxy was. I really had a great time playing it. But my best game that I have played via gamepads that I would never have played if not for it is Remnant from the ashes. That game is too damn good.
@Silly gamerAr
I was not trying to educate him on what a monopoly is but to tell him how this is not a monopoly. Maybe you can emlighten us on how Microsofts 1998 lawsuit that saw them accused of trying to create a monopoly that led to the collapse of rival Netscape by giving its browser software for free with its 98% share OS, is similar to Mictosoft buying Activision?
Do you even know what a monolopy is? This is not even remotely close to being one.
EDIT: To anyone disagreeing, then show actual stats (not feelings) of how this acquisition is a monopoly?
When Disney purchased Fox, their market share of the movie industry was 35%. The Fox deal took them to 40% and the deal was still approved by the FTC.
According to Newzoo, Microsoft's gaming market share was 6.5% in 2020 and adding Activision woul...
On N4G? Nope..that has never been said here :))
@Kindi_boy 100% correct.
Just finished an online business course with Oxford University. One of the Professors said something that stuck with me "The top brands in the world got where they are by a desperation to be number 1 due to a desire to completely disrupt the industry they are in"
This is exactly what Microsoft is doing. They now want to be no 1. You can smell the desperation now and they sure as hell are not going to do it by conducting ...
If they do not buy it, then Tencent will. Which would you rather own all these publishers?
Pick your poison.
and Tony Hawk. This makes the Bethesda aquisition look like a stroll in the park
I just do not see Microsoft making those games exclusive. They are huge money makers and it makes more sense in my opinion to keep them multipatform. But xbox players will get it on gamepass and obviously, will get some exclusive content.
Also, Sony will no longer have exclusive advertising rights for COD or any Activision IP like they had previously.
Lord Jesus!!!!!
Microsoft now own Call of Duty, Overwatch, Diablo, World of Warcraft and the StarCraft IP

A question for devs and publishers to answer. if they see no value in it, they will not put their games on gamepass. Simples!!
I bought the constellation edition and I have game pass
