"Do you see a future of console upgrades continually happening? Is this the last console generation?
Greenberg: I think it is. ... For us, we think the future is without console generations; we think that the ability to build a library, a community, to be able to iterate with the hardware -- we're making a pretty big bet on that with Project Scorpio. We're basically saying, "This isn't a new generation; everything you have continues forward and it work...
Is that not what Sony is doing with the NEO?
Reading an article before commenting is not that hard you know.
Completely agree
It would be great if it came to Xbox One so that people that like such games and only had an Xbox One could experience playing it. But for me, I have absolutely no interest in No Mans Sky.
This would be amazing if true. Finally get the chance to play PS3 exclusives I missed last gen. But it all depends on the price.
Halo 5 is definitely the best multiplayer game I have ever played. I never play Halo dor multiplayer but Warzone is just too amazing. With the addition of Warzone Firefight, I have back playing it on a daily bases.
If you say so lol
No
I do
But you can restart in real life right? You can crash in real life without any damage or penalties right? Give me a break
I am not yet sold on VR so, I have to say NO. If devs manage to bring some amazing VR experiences, that ends up convincing me to give VR a try, then I would be glad the next Xbox is powerful enough to support Oculus Rift.
As for now, my main draw to the next Xbox is the rumored 6Tflops capability of the GPU. As someone that has been disappointed by the lame leap in graphics performance this gen, that amount of power is music to my ears.
Not really. Halo 5 was 42gb+ at launch. Then increased to over 50gb over theholidays and now sits at 72gb.
Halo 5: Guardians sits at 72GB on my X1 at the moment.
Microsoft announced yesterday that Xbox controller support is coming to Windows Mobile https://www.youtube.com/wat...
I already have the continuum dock so now I can play mobile games on the big screen with Miracast or continium.
All it takes if for Apple and the rest to start bundling controllers with their more powerful tablets and you have a more powerful device that you can carry ...
I like this approach.
Its unbelievable how gamers and so called gaming journalists are so obsessed with sales. What is even worse is the mindset that if something is not number one, then it must be a failure.
The more reason to wait. History is definitely not on the side of PSVR. In fact people should be less worried about the competition and be more worried that it does not end up being another Move.
Hmmm lets see. Since the NES, i can't think of one optional gaming add on released half way in a consoles life cycle that has gone on to be mega sucessfull, so why don't we just wait and see how PSVR is received before proclaiming doom for the competition.
I mean, how many times have we been hear before? Kinect, PS Move, Sega 3D, Sega CD, N64 Expansion catridges etc etc etc.
Microsoft's gaming Mascot for 15 years has been Master Chief.
