Don't really care about DLC for any of those games apart from Mass Effect.We only got one so far Bring Down The Sky (a bit short) and i hope they release another one that would be much larger and longer before Mass Effect 2 releases.
The only games that i will install are RPG's due to their long loading times, as for the rest i am fine with them.So in the end it's optional.I am not forced by any dev or Microsoft to sacrifice my time and hard drive space to install any game.

I played it with some close friends of mine on xbox live and we felt that the yelling was a good feature, because if someone is reloading he is obviously going to be vulnerable , so at that point we know he should be defended in case of an attack.
Same feeling here.Every person i have played the demo on xbox live with adores the game.There are just so many WTF,oh sh*t moments in this game.I expect this game to have nothing but max praise from critics and consumers alike.

What happened is the internet.During the SNES era,fanboys existed.I used to argue on end with my friends which console was better between the SNES and the Mega Drive.
It's just that the internet is so mainstream and forums and sites like N4G have sprung up.So now people can take their fanboyisim to the next level.
I would have gladly paid the full retail price for horde mode alone.
If Gears 2 shipped with only horde mode, i would still buy the game.But it came with a great campaign and great multiplayer modes.
As for it surpassing Halo this gen, yes i would agree but the problem that Gears faces is that it does not have a universe and story that is as good as Halo.But game play wise, Gears has taken the trophy.
