The people that these games are aimed at don't give a damn about reviews.They see the commercial on tv and if it appeals to them they pick it up.Also most of these games cost very little to develop,so the game does not need to sell millions of copies for them to make a return on their investment.But i am sure they would want it to sell alot since Microsoft is trying to expand their audience.

PS2 is far from dead.It's extremely cheap to manufacture,cheap to buy and so creates a great entry point into gaming.So business wise it is great for sony to keep it in production.
If you have been on this site for a year, you should remember all the "2008 the year of the ps3" articles and "will 2008 be the end of the 360" articles which i also contributed in approving.
So if those articles end up being false and they come out with a counter article, then it should be approved.
I don't know how people in the states will react to such a commercial but in the UK it will definitely be a hit.Linx,Oasis,Oxy,vauxhall etc all have very weird commercials and they all are hits with the viewing public.
I think for who they are targeting the game at (mostly Europeans), it gets the job done.For me, it was a good advert.
