-Plus competition from games like BF3, Skyrim, Gears 3, Uncharted 3, Batman...etc.
-Price slashing
But all these patches are FREE so they take a load on the servers.
Imagine those millions of COD owners downloading a patch at the same time.
I'm sure the money Sony/MS ask for these patches are spent on upgrading and maintaining their servers.
Car physics were great in IV.
Niko physics like jumping and running were a step down from San Andreas IMO. More realistic? Yes. But this is a video game, realism isn't always the best thing.

Those NPD numbers are very weird. Only 386k in January? and it was the #1 game on the list? No way. If this is true then.....wow. Current-gen consoles are really dying.
EDIT: yes I was right. this number is complete bull. NPD doesn't list actual sales for these games they only list them in order of best-selling. So I have no idea where this article got this number from. Activision didn't reveal these numbers either.
