Are you going to carry a bluetooth controller on the train/bus or in the car to play a game? No.
PS Vita is your best option.
" I would imagine a smartphone plugged into a poweroutlet outputting games on a TV may even become a good alternative to home consoles."
Nope. There's no big games on phones.
-Apps can be as large as 2GB, but be aware of download times.
-Make efforts to minimize file size.
Don't need a new TV and I'm certainly not paying $1000+ for one any time soon.
I'll stick to the $300-$500 consoles thank you very much.
Call of Duty will be remembered. So far shows no signs of decline.
I don't need to do this. MY PS3 download speed is already equal to that of my PC. I run a wired connection so maybe that's why.
Pretty sure they said they take a loss with each Vita sold. They say it will take ~3 years to reach profitability.

It the reason Call of Duty is such a mega-franchise. They put gameplay over graphics. Same goes for Wii Sport and Mario Kart.
Most likely console limitations.
"and how pirating a copy is just plain stealing."
I agreed with everything up to that point. PIRACY IS NOT STEALING. PC piracy is SO bad because there are no used games to buy. If people could buy these games cheap and used, they wouldn't pirate. Hey how about a bunch of companies in the video game industry open up a chain of retail stores and sell used games? That gets rid of that problem.
There is no excuse for Sony this time. How can the PS Vita marketing team not come up with the idea of getting an ad during the Super Bowl?
I knew it would be a remaster from the beginning but then they said it was a remake so I got confused.
The game is hard.
If you want something easier go play an FPS.
Been seeing ads for this a lot on TV. Cut down on the CGI. How about showing actual gameplay?
There are 2 possibilities with this game.
Either it will be a huge hit, or a huge flop.
Killzone 4 obviously.
Ugh. Please no Kevin Butler.
"However, after almost 7 months since its announcement, the $249 price is starting to feel overpriced. Think about it, a PS3 for $249.99 or a PlayStation Vita?"
Its actually the PS3 that's over priced. $250 after 5 years? Really Sony? The Wii launched at $250 you know....
Uncharted 3 sold 3.5 million in about 3 months. That's already faster than all the other Uncharteds. Uncharted 2 has sold 5.5 million since launch. Expect Uncharted 3 to surpass that over the next few years.
It's far from a flop. You want a flop? Look at Resistance 3. Although that did manage to get 1 million sales so its not a complete flop.
Xbox 360 doesn't sell that well once the holiday advertising is over. That plus the fact that PS3 sells ~20k each week in Japan and the rest is from EMEAA.
You're supposed to capitalize the first letter of a sentence. Someone didn't pay attention in school!
It's ranked just like all the other online modes. That's the whole point of adding it into a public playlist.
Was this written by a 12 year old? Seriously, really immature.
