Eventually yes they will pass PS3/360 BUT they will never support physical media and downloading 10+gig games is out of the question.

I dont know why you're surprised the Vita version looks so much better. Yes, there is room for improvement on the 3DS version but don't expect anything on the level of the Vita version, ever.
I'd like one too but I have some conditions.
1. Don't announce it until AFTER Final Fantasy Versus XIII is out for PS3.
2. Don't announce it unless it's at least 50% done.
3. Make it multi-platform. No reason not to release it on PS3/360/Wii U.

It'll be interesting to see if the smaller Vita games make it to PS certified phones eventually. It should would be a huge advantage if PS certified games could play Vita games. How would Nintendo compete with that?
Yes it does have AR stages. The trailer pretty much just confirmed it.
The only good game on the list is Tony Hawk and I don't even know how horrible the port is.
So Vita wins based on the games being more modern with better graphics and gameplay.

Actually Sony doesn't rely on Uncharted. They have many more IPs they release and market. God of War, LittleBigplanet, Gran Turismo, Killzone, Resistance...etc. I'm sure I missed about a dozen. Sony has a lot of NEW IP's this gen. How many good NEW IPs does Nintendo have? Leave out the Wii Fit and all that jazz. That's right, NONE. It's all casual garbage(IMO)

From a software standpoint the 3DS obviously has the advantage since its been out longer. In fact it may always have the advantage if you like Mario and Pokemon, Zelda...etc.

1. Not everyone has the luxury of changing jobs. Bowling is most likely on a contract with Activison/Infinity Ward. Even if he wasn't a job change for a game developer would most likely mean moving to a different city. He has a family to think about.
