Many Japanese games aren't getting localized since PSP died in America. A perfect example is Final Fantasy Type-0.
A good example of the PSP dying in America is the sales of the newest God of War.(Ghost of Sparta I believe) which are much lower than the previous PSP GoW. A complete flop TBH. This is probably the reason the games were ported to PS3.
I don't care at all about trophies. In fact sometimes trophies prevent me from enjoying a game. When I don't get that Platinum it feels like I didn't complete the game. It's a horrible feeling.

1. It is taking risks when you release so much DLC for a game. Does the community want it? Will they move on to another game 5 months from launch? These are risks and it was especially risky back during the COD4/MW2 era.
2. COD Elite is actually really risky. It's a subscription model(optinal) on a console FPS. It has never been done before.
