Guilty. Forgot about most important rule with electronics: RTFM! I only got it last week though. Thanks for reminding me to check the manual.
"it doesn't deliver the kind of innovative experience once promised."
GG promised breath-taking graphics. And they delivered.
The one on HHG site doesn't work for me. N4G one does.
He looks like Lombax, except for the face which is more human-like. Maybe he's a son of Ratchet and Talwyn Apogee, who besides facial features also shares body type.
That guy looks like the same kind as the surfer girl... board, pointy ears. If I remember correctly she was Apogee's daughter, so you are probably right.
EDIT
You were right before you changed your mind :)
EDIT 2
Damn it. I just noticed furry ears.

Aren't Home avatars better? They are 3D, they move, you don't have to use them if you choose not to. That's a step up. No?
Game invites work at least for Warhawk.
It feels so good gliding as Ratchet with Sixaxis, it's awesome wrestling and pulling souls in Folklore and it's absolutely amazing guiding arrows in Heavenly Sword. Placing mines in Killzone is quite an interesting implementation (turn/release), although it does feel a bit gimmicky compared to those I just mentioned.
I think it needs some time getting used to. I remember almost vomiting when I first used a mouse in Wolfenstein.
... when Kai's shooting arrows on the bridge. Both life-like visuals and guiding arrows with Sixaxis are next gen experiences. Killzone 2 - next gen lighting and sound.
If you're talking about Quest for Booty, I read it's 4,5 hours. It still might be on sale for $9.99. I played about an hour and it looks freaking amazing. I think it was also on disc in Europe and Asia.
Tools of Destruction 10/10!!! Downloaded Quest for Booty last week for $9.99. It looks even better right from the start. It might still be on sale.
Yep, it's probably the lack of voice over that put people off. I wish it was included, but I also enjoyed the unique feel of story being written instead of told. I bought the game for its somber atmosphere created by the visuals and music, but I fell in love with its fighting system. Folklore requires quite a bit of dedication to learn about folk types and their proper usage. Looks like that most of the creatures have their origin in north European mythologies, so they are not completely made...
After sleeping on a sofa I browse Internet from PS3. It's in a living room. I really like PS3 web browser with the controller. I got used to avoiding pressing L1 and R1. That drove me crazy. But, usually I post from my PC (Ubuntu & Firefox) because I'm not allowed to smoke in the living room :(
I use my PC mostly for Internet browsing, emails, multimedia stuff. All of that I can do on PS3. Occasionally I open a document or a spreadsheet, edit some multimedia files which I cannot in PS3's GameOS. So, basically PS3 and maybe Wii can do 99% of my computing needs due to these two consoles having an Internet browser. Maybe this fact is the reason why MS doesn't want to include Internet Explorer in 360.

I bought Mac Mini for $600 year and a half ago. I think it's a decent price for such a beautiful package. Got an aluminum bluetooth keyboard and mouse for it. Top notch quality American product.
Sony is now packaging their own OS with XMB interface together with Vista. You can either boot up Vista or XMB which loads in no time.
"I like how most here on this site take this as being news"
It's not any less news than Aaron Greenberg's statement about sales distribution between the two platforms. Actually, it seems these guys used scientific calculations to pull their data from.
People play games outside of US and UK???
The fact that it has its own power is added bonus: you can use it separately and it doesn't drain the controller.
