Okay. I'm taking my fanboy hat off. If I had a choice, whether I would prefer to buy a disc or to download it, that would depend on how much I value the game. When my wife hid Warhawk disc from me, having an option to download it that night probably saved my marriage j/k! That's probably my favourite game and I would definitely want to have it on a disc. Since I also have it on PS3, I never insert the disc anymore. Now that I think of it, the option to include distributable copy on a disc wou...
First it was games, then DLC, now Microsoft thinks exclusive demos are the future.
Games don't have legs.
There are still games coming to PS2. recently Persona 4, Naruto remake in March. PS2 is now open platform meaning that people can develop without Sony's approval and licensing fee.
morganfell,
Thanks for the reply. I have my reasons for avoiding anything Microsoft, (besides having to pay for Vista so I can install Linux on a new PC), so I don't have an Xbox to compare games with scores. I thought all rambling about exclusives on one console being better than on the other one was just a fanboy rant. Until I got GTA4. Although it has its merits, there are things that wouldn't be forgiven if it was PS3 exclusive: I steal cops car, run over few pedestrians. At ...
I pretty much respect your posts on N4G. Even now I'm not challenging your dislike of Dan Hsu. I've had no idea who he was, so I checked Wikipedia. I know anyone can edit it, but according to it, he seemed to have exposed some bad practices in the industry.
I'm really curious what he has done to piss you off that bad.
Cheers.
It's exclusive to platforms running MS OS on hardware made by MS and every other PC vendor.
"No other game I have played has ever given off the sense of that fact quite like Killzone 2."
So, how come those big credible reviews say that KZ2 adds nothing new to FPS genre?
I see, they thought it was lag.
"Although I do notice it seems to be the same no matter which weapon you carry."
I don't think so. Added weight is pretty noticeable when you grab a flame thrower, for example.
Yeah, MS is quite creative and generous with their business model: exclusive games, exclusive DLC, exclusive demos, early release dates... I wonder what effect directing that effort and money to hardware and software development might have?
Did you mean this foreman grill ?

It's $150.

You don't have to pay to get clothes or furniture.
About enemy AI: On few occasions, I could swear they were shooting at me sitting behind the cover, backwards over their head. I had to either throw a grenade or get close to them.
These are one of the nicest screenshots I've seen.
VHS FTW!
XBox did a "trick" by assigning losses (1B$+) from extended RROD warranties to fiscal 2007, I believe. So even though fixing RROD is costing them money today, it goes to 2007 fiscal year. I think MS Gaming Division is still only profitable on paper.
Opening act is leaving the stage. It's time for the main attraction :)
Well put:
"They harbor many valid and intelligent points regarding this our most loved hobby yet always put there despairing negative spin on anything that doesnt fit into theyre misplaced ludite sensibilities."
Fortunately, their web of truth is not as impenetrable as they hope it to be.
Is Incognito confirmed to be working on this game?
Not for me. Unless, they include a streetcar!
