That was definitely worth an "Agree."
Word! More power to you.
In addition to the sample group being limited to just university students, here's another reason it is flawed. Where was this study conducted? BYU... I say again, BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY. Not exactly the epitome of diversity.
Wish I had a nickel for every time the Wii got flamed for being a toy on this site. Yet the Wii gets invoked to make an argument in this rant? Stop right there. Can't have it both ways and using the Wii to bash the PS3 equates to loser fanboy gibberish.
I'm not even against fanboys- we need extreme guys to make developers and producers push the envelope. It's the idiotic, immature, crybaby uber-fanboyjackasses that hate the "other system" just because it is there. ...
Dude- let go of the hate. Life is too short!
I feel bad for the guys who just can't bring themselves to buy a Blu-Ray player out of spite for Sony/PS3/losing the format war, etc. Their inability to let go of their hate just translates into missing out on the fantastic quality of the format. If you're an XBOX 360 fan, you really are missing out. Sure Sony guys have a bias for Blu-Ray but there are a lot of stand alone Blu-Ray purchasers out there, neutral in the PS3/360 war, that are enjoying the next great format. Don't miss out jus...
The gaming world is better when Atari is healthy. Old school gamers are today's thirty- and forty- something professionals who are making money and appreciate the Atari name. Best of luck to them as they try to go "Madonna" and successfully reinvent themselves.
I could not wait to get home to play it... I stayed up late, got up early, and when I was asleep, I dreamt about it. I remember thinking "this is what it must feel like to be addicted to crack."
That said, eventually I got my fill and the cravings subsided. I don't have the same level of addiction with COD5, but that's not to say it's worse than COD4. The games themselves are very similar so I see COD5 in the same light as COD4- was once addicted, still like it, bu...
That is quite possibly the worst rationalization I have read on this site.
I know it's brand new, but Shaun White snowboarding on Wii is CRAZY fun in multiplayer.
"The boy is expected to make a full recovery but his father said he plans on limiting the amount of time his son is allowed to play computer games."
Good call, Dad!
Lighten up, Francis
I tried it and it works!
Great comment, still laughing!
Cheers.
I hear you, but there is an "Obama effect" that is happening now. For instance, well-known (and well-hated) professional sports agent Drew Rosenhaus is already jockeying to pry more money from owners for his clients because Obama proposes higher taxes for the rich. Even though he's not yet in office, those in big business are looking at their strategies for the new administration. Not saying this is a bad thing, nor am I saying this has anything to do with Circuit City's move giv...
It's too bad, Circuit City always seemed like they were on the cusp of becoming a true rival with Best Buy. Customer service was always a problem for me whenever I went to a store- they seemed to not care a whole lot and there was always only one register open. Not that BB's service is all that much better but I have left merchandise on the candy rack and left in frustration more often in CC than I have in BB. Maybe with Chapter 11 protection they'll be able to reorganize, retrench, and re...
Getting its ass kicked by the USC theme.
Life's too short to let fanboys dictate your likes and dislikes. Blu-ray is great, and you're about to get into a whole new addiction. I hope you and your girlfriend enjoy your purchase- it really is fantastic. Fanboys for both the PS3 and 360 suck- so don't let them influence you or take away from your enjoyment of high-def entertainment. Best wishes to you and your girlfriend!
Well, I guess it was somewhat discounted for release week. Great movie that really performs on Blu-Ray. Usually I look for deals on the movies I want or get them off eBay. This was a day one purchase for a guy who almost never gets something on day one. Great job Marvel!
Samsung copies Sony technology to introduce a product called "Television!"
Green Bay Packers copy San Francisco 49ers to employ strategy called "West Coast Offense!"
GM copies Ford by incorporating safety feature called "Anti Lock Brakes!"
X copies Y. So what? As long as there's no patent infringement, there's no foul.
It's not like MS created this concept. Remember "I am Tiger Woods."
