interesting, I don't really fall into these categories(for gaming at least), I usually think I'm bad, and I'm actually bad lol.
for other tasks though, like learning go and chess I definitely felt this effect. You always think you're starting to grasp how you're supposed to play the game and think you were a fool before until you realize that you actually don't know how to play at all.
HUH!?! I play on all platforms and the biggest cry babies are by far the PC gamers, wanting you to be banned from a server the first time they get sniped because you're "camping" or raging like hell on starcraft 2 because your race is "OP".
and the article is comparing single player to multiplayer. PC games have the same single player as consoles so there's exactly the same amount of hand-holding there...
oh god, I didn't realize they were all coming out in may: dragon's dogma and diablo 3 I am getting for sure, but I'm also very exited for starhawk, max payne and ghost recon... I'll never have the time for all that :(

They don't see the difference between releasing dlc on the disc or later via download, because business-wise it's the SAME. That content was developed to be sold separately and would never have existed otherwise. ...

yeah, buying on release date is most of the time a mistake. I bought mass effect 3 two days ago for 22£ new.

What capcom says, is, from a business stand point true... if they developed content with the intent of selling it as DLC putting it or not on the disk does not change anything. They would not have developed that content if they weren't going to sell it separately. When the content is done and where it is stored should not have any importance...

so true, the only games I would consider giving a 10 to, are concise games like journey, with no extra fat, the game concept in it's purest form. So just journey and portal I guess lol
awww I'm so jealous. On my first play through none of the players wanted to walk with me. Then at last in the last third of the game I started walking with someone, and it was awesome! When on the last straight line we had to walk, my brother rebooted our router, so I had to finish my journey alone...
