I find it hard getting exited for this, just because, if it's something cool, you can bet I'll never get it in switzerland.
also a game streaming service doesn't really seem possible with all the ps4 talk around. how would sony make people buy an (eventual) ps4 if technically you could just stream every game to your ps3.
I'm actually wondering what games he likes...
"my most hated games like BioShock, Prototype, Red Dead Redemption and Might and Magic: Dark Messiah at least have some semblance of charm and character. But Dragon’s Dogma is just empty. And yes I know that those are some very popular games I just branded, so I guess that makes my opinion automatically wrong, right?"
not wrong, just completely irrelevant to anyone looking for a good game to play. ...
disco, you are so well mannered :D
@VGI:
7 out of 10 is exactly equal to 70/100, no matter how you turn it, you can't compare the 3 point off to the 30 points off. it's actually 3/10 points off and 30/100 points off, which are also exactly equal.
I hope I was clear enough, anyway, I think you know the math, you just perceive that missing 30 points is too much.
I agree with the premise of it, but the complaints are dumb. One reviewer says that an aspect of the game isn't as polished as skykim's or DA's, he not comparing the games directly. putting "IGNorant" in the title while IGN is not even criticised is another very unprofessional move. Then he goes on and complains about how the score gets ported over into metacritic? yeah, anything he says now has no more value to me....
the problem isn't really ignora...
I don't think they're that similar to be honest. in skyrim you go into town and get "contracts" to bring down big monsters(dragons), that doesn't make it monster hunter at all...
I mean how is it possible that this game is skyrim, monster hunter and dark/demon's souls at the same time, those games aren't similar.
I don't know why you chose to reference the least known dbz character, but I do appreciate the best namek ever getting some recognition :)
it's crazy how people bash dragon's dogma because it isn't something else they liked. "the gameplay is not enough like demon's souls" "doesn't have coop like monster hunter". This is dragon's dogma, not MH or DS, just like it or hate it for what it is, not for what it might look like in your mind.
I'm pretty sure they always said there wouldn't be multiplayer
I didn't play the game, so I can't be sure, but I have a feeling that pawns being "bland" is part of the story
this gaming is getting very mixed reviews, I guess the score heavily depends on how much the reviewer can forgive these "rough edges". It's always hard to score a fun game that has issues.
I think I'll love it though.
funny, 'cause OXM.uk loved it. I don't know if they are in relation though
a very good score considering it's edge. looking forward to getting my copy :D
that's what shocked me the most in this article lol, I have often read opinion pieces "bashing" the PS3 so I don't really care anymore. but thinking his daughter looks anything like ellie?! MADNESS!
aww.. you beat me to correcting him about his quote :(
I also recommend community, it's great, especially the third to last episode for anyone who likes video games.
wow the graphics are beautiful. I'm still not convinced by the gameplay though, slow walking and shooting valves doesn't do it for me.
you mean you skipped ODST and reach?
I still remember how disappointed I was when their "new IP" was halo 4, I nearly rage quit the live stream lol.
I mean, halo is cool, and all, but when they hyped me up for a new franchise I didn't think it would a a old franchise lol
yeah, but when you're looking at goty, you comparing every game on the market so your point makes no sense
wow, never heard of the outfit, and it looks awesome! still, I believe that if only one game did it before BL was still quite original.
that's not how it works... for onlive at least, they stream the picture to you, so the size/graphics/scope of the game has nothing to do with being able to stream it or not. the resolution and FPS is what counts, I doubt we'll get anything near 1080p 60 FPS for a while
