it's a pretty screen, nothing more really. It just doesn't have an effect on gaming, as the resolution used is way lower than the retina's resolution (here 1920x1220).
If retina is specified in the title it's just to differentiate the retina macbook with the "normal" macbook.
I would just imagine that people who are awaiting the game actually want to see the game be released. As the developper I woudn't say "fuck you" to them.
I watched it and enjoyed it a lot, but it did't really make me appreciate the people behind the game.
I mean, the skinny guy from team meat is just weird lol. And phil fish even though he is quite funny, does he realize he said "f*** you" to his fans in the movie? that guy needs a PR manager lol
i don't know... I don't see how controls can be done. It would be very touch based and then what's the point of bringing it to wiiU if you're going to use it as a tablet?
I agree that the story ws better in the first and it would have been nice to have something similar in 2, but I found that having a "hub" area to upgrade and talk to character was enjoyable.
also, even though VC2 was cut down in scale it never felt like they were missing budget. In VC, at some points you were supposed to see the entirety of the opposing army and the cinematic only showed 3 tanks.
anyway, both games are great. and I hope they'll ...
I thought VC2 was way better than the first, it had it's limitations, because of the hardware, but the customisation was much better and made for a more gratifying game.
creating relationships between characters was fun to, but I'll aggree that they could have gone with another setting. or the same one, but less highschool-y
I just hope that by mass audience he means that it could be downloaded anywhere very easily, not that he wants to make a very accessible game.
I like the fact that flower and journey aren't that acessible to casual gamers, you need some king of "gamer knowledge" to understand what's going on.
it's a good thing I think, they'll be making one game each this way :D
@rezzah I don't remember her exact statement but it sounded like she wanted to make a game that was truely her's from beginning to end instead of working on Chen's ideas
I am going to TGS this year :( would have been nice to see some microsoft games
lol have you ever spoken with a pc gamer?
from what I heard, at the end he just through the controller in the air and left lol
you build laptops? if so are they thinner and do they have a better battery life than the new macbook pro?
lol, you were just looking for disagrees on that one
bragging that your desktop is more powerful than a 0.71 inch laptop? nice! you must be a very manly person!
seriously though, the article is about the display and not the components. I don't think many people are playing diablo on a screen with 220 ppi laptop or desktop.
my mac has heat issues though... still people that still think it's the 80 and that you're paying 10 times the price for half the hardware are just uninformed windows fanboys(seriously who wants to be that?)
I'll admit that apple products are more expensive though.
for anyone disagreeing please show me a more powerful, cheaper pc laptop that would roughly be the same size
lol so much hate for apple in this article.
seriously mac has quite a few games now, there really isn't much to complain about.
I can play most "pc exclusives" on my mac, all valve and blizzard games are available and most indies are for windows, mac and linux.
sadly, it's true for me, and I don't even actively hunt trophies. I just like having the feeling that what ever I'm playing it makes my trophy level advance.
what?!
it maybe doesn't have a killer app for us, but when you think about it... what were the best selling games on wii? new supper mario bros, wii fit, just dance, raving rabbids... all those games were there, and I believe nintendo land could have the same effect as wii sports on the mass market.
that's always the problem when you want to market screens. the 3ds struggled because you couldn't see 3d and the vita's colors couldn't be shown though your screen either.
