it's not a 5/10 bad, but I can't say I'm having lots of fun with it... it involves a lot of (free)running. I guess it depends on if you are having fun while (free)running you'll like the game, otherwise wait for a price drop. Don't get me wrong, I think the tree climbing is fun and fresh and I enjoy doing just that. It's just that the building freerunning isn't as fun anymore and running in the streets can feel like a mess.
even if it does "suck", the reviews are stellar and it will sell well. You can be sure that 343 will be doing halo 5.
so many people I know skipped brotherhood and revelations, that's why you see less complaints. Only fans buy AC yearly
wow mykky(Edit: got your name wrong). "story-telling at it's finest"? I mean, it's really cool that they tried to change it up, and I hope bigger productions go that way, but it just wasn't handled well. If you played RDR you would know how slow beginnings should be done. All I was thinking about in the 4 first sequences was how awesomely well done RDR was.
Also, despite the slow beginning, they should have introduced the tree climbing way earlier than t...
mine might be journey or xcom, Xcom would be at the top if it weren't for the general bugginess
hard to say, as I'm still in the "opening sequence". I'de say that the combat really isn't that good for the moment, it feels really clunky, and fire-weapons are even worse.
that said, from looking at the trailers the combat looks to be at a batman-level. So maybe it gets better through upgrades and better weapons
@martinez I did say that I was just judgeing the beginning, maybe not clearly enough though.
@Hoje it's mainly gta4, I should have been more accurate with that. Nico was trying his best to keep out of trouble and get on with his life. Then you play the game and kill everybody lol.
about 2 hours I think, there were already quite a few really cool sequences. but the pacing is really slow and it has the "GTA/uncharted problem" where you play a nice guy and then f**king kill everyone when in gameplay, it feels even more disconnected than in GTA/uncharted.
otherwise the first missions are very stealthy, and coming out of dishonored it feels really off. and anyway at the end you kill everyone so it feels useless.
not saying it'...
from what I played I would give a 7.5 or so, but from the trailers it looks to get much better later on.
this trailer contains quite a few spoilers, even though the spoiled point are quite predictable.
I'm a few hours in and I don't get how the combat looks so good in the trailer and in the game it's just clunky, maybe I must get better weapons or something
I just happen to hate the interface, but as far as games go, I don't think it'll change much for anybody.
assassin's creed might be better, but you'll get more out of NFS if you play when it's still new, it has a strong social aspect
new girl was hilarious this week :D
I strongly agree with the argument about the morality of the game. I don't play it as organically as I did in the first level. I feel a bit forced into stealth.
I've been playing the past hour or so, and discovered a new, very disturbing bug, for some people the second SHIV you build is unusable. not being able to use my SHIV is really annoying
I guess you're playing on pc?
for the ps3 version at least, I had it crash once, and I have a lot of slowdowns.
let's be honest there's also a lot of shooting and seeing through walls going on, on top of the weird camera placement. I don't think these will ever be addressed though.
still one of my favorite games this year, I hope they'll put out some more substantial DLC
it's the other way around. big publishers are pushing out boring shooters because people don't buy cool games like xcom.
I'm not sure we can say that xcom not selling is the big publisher's fault
at least it's free :)
I thought it would be thirty maps from the title, would have been cool
I'm surprised at how good this looks. I still can't afford to get it though, too many other games
and that's, precisely, my gibbest gripe with the game: you can't. Most missions are heavily scripted and you have to do exactly what developers intended you to do.
