I would say it is a double edge sword. Let's see a game that came out Outriders. You see how that game had positive then quickly dipped to negative views. I think PCF knew their game would be very short and to them it makes sense to sell on GP. Same with this new Baulders Gate game coming out. It looks okayish but not quite there, you know what I'm saying? But it is on GP so it gives people the ability to try it out and if it sucks there is no burn. I don't really believe that you...
I'll take a wait-and-see approach. To me, it would be obvious with all the acquisitions that MS would have something new. Whether they have built up enough credibility to not be taken with a hint of hesitation is another thing. I eagerly await what they have in store, but I have not eagerly anticipated anything from MS for quite some time. I would have bought an Xbox for Grim Dawn but even that they are slow and I'm not sure if Crate is bringing it to the console still. Anyway I won...
This is good news for GP people. I'm in a wait-and-see mode for this game but this is good all the same.
I don't have either but if you are giving things a grade what metrics are you using? I see a lot of grades, can you guys please break your grades down, maybe say Console, Games, UI, etc. Something that we can then debate about?
I'm at that age where I will no longer buy a game that I know is going to have several microtransactions out the gate. Using the AC games as an example. I really like Odyssee but it has so many MTs. What I want is for them to finally finish everything about the game and release it again with all the MT in one game. If it is $59 that is fine just release all of it. I think for me that would be a great compromise because as it stands although I want Valhalla I won't be getting that game...
The reply thing is weird here. Anyway yes agreed. I want flight simulator on my PC but I don't think I can handle it to me that is a good reason to own an X so hopefully, it releases on that platform. I like Halo and definitely want to see where the franchise goes. I am not that into racers so that includes GT as well as Forza. Gears idk have always been hit or miss with me. I've played some titles in the past. I am like you hoping that MS brings more games. Elderscrolls alone is a re...
I would add that MS and Sony have games in the pipeline. That being said MS has a history of this everyone knows it that is exactly why they purchased all of those studios. This reason alone makes it viable to have FP games. Regardless of what platform you favor MS not having those FP games should be an issue. When Halo drops I sure people will be a lot quieter but this is and has always been a point of debate. They need more flagship titles. I would argue that both MS and Nintendo (to a less...
This is such a ridiculous comment. Some people here own both but may favor one over the other. That goes for both sides. It is all about games and the machines that play them. This is a gaming website, who wants to only talk about one damn console. MS needs more games you even mention it in your comment. Both sides have fanboys as you say, as your comment attests.
The only way I can see myself getting a Series X is if they have Elderscrolls on it. If it comes to that and PC I'll just stick with PC. I liked Gears although there were some things that irritated me (like massive armor and no helmets) but otherwise a solid franchise. I am curious how MS will do in the upcoming years in terms of their game lineup. I don't have a PS5 yet either and don't plan on looking for either console until they have a good library to choose from. Historically...
Aren't titles like this just designed to have these take a side debate? I'm not really a fan of rogue-type games, but there are exceptions like Hades and Dead Cells. Also, I die on games like Demon souls just walking up the stairs, so I rarely play them. Those games are not for me, but I definitely recognize their worth.
When I say Borderlands I mean more so that type of art style. It's all good either way, I hope it comes to playstation.
Oh even better, it is third person though right? And you get cool guns etc? I love RnC. One of my fav franchises.
Is Sunset overdrive like Borderlands but third person? Do you get a lot of weapons, customizations etc? I liked Borderlands but I hate FPS it makes me sick so i can only play sparingly.
Oh crap. lol. Bout to get real.
I remember playing Resident Evil on the playstation. Scared the crap out of me. No way would I let me son play this game. I even stop playing when he wants to know certain games. It just depends. You have to be the responsible one and let them develop at a suitable pace. It's like letting your kid watch certain scary movies. For instance the new "It" series. Can you imagine letting your kid watch that thinking it is okay.
I see what you are trying to convey. I love the Ratchet and Clank series. When I get a PS5 I'm definitely picking this up. It is one of my all-time favorite series actually. Love the guns and hopefully, they can be modded this time around. I do see what you mean in terms of doing something new with the series. Like how God Of War was changed, or like that Zelda game for the switch was changed from how traditionally these games typically are. It is a shame that we can't disagree and ha...
There are a lot of things wrong with this country from the White and Black perspective. Both sides are right, but it is funny that we are so invested in hate, anger and providing solutions with vile that we don't realize that we need one another. There are viable points on both sides, but it seems like people are just to clumsy to actually talk about these things in hopes of true resolution. That would mean not only would you have to dirty your hands, open your mind and actually provide a...
In My Opinion
lol. Loved your statement. I've had this happen to a person before with great credentials but because of her name she was overlooked. At the time I thought it was hilarious, but then again the first thing out of the persons mouth was well we know what color she is. Still I'm not sure she ever got wind of that because it was a story told to me by a friend, however I would not personally want to work for a company like that.
I like the idea of this game, but it is a definite wait and see.
