I personally would never release the same type game on a yearly basis. 2 years...give people a chance to miss it, you a chance to perfect it and add more stuff to it.

A true gamer speaks. At its current rate we should not see a PS4 until 2015-2016. Are technology is getting to that phase where it's being replaced to rapidly. No need to invest so quickly if your going to just bring out something new in 4 years.
Def. I don't think we'll see it for so many reasons until at least 2016.
Games however will keep the system alive, and that goes for MS and NIN as well. Their respective consoles will do the dame. MS makes sense going after kinect because if it does not they will have to then focus on a new console. People would expect a leap in graphics, etc.
That is very expensive. So why not try and innovate with what you have instead of just rebuilding and re bra...

Between 2013-2014 should be a mention or a switch of consoles.
PS3 however should focus on keeping people tuned to it despite newness until at the earliest 2015 possibly 2016.
After that I would think people would be asleep on the PS3. What I mean by that, is people tend to lose the hype on things after a certain amount of time. I call this the sleep phase.

All consoles are going to push their graphical limits..and then the developers will break them but only by so much. It's a back and forth type of thing.
I wouldn't say people don't want a new console, its just at this time a new console would not be a good idea.
Think on it for a second if you will. If a new PS4 drops:
1. You would loose money dividing the player base, between the PS3,4 and NGP.
As it states when you buy the game using PS+.
Since it's a free game...your just playing it while you have the service. So you can essentially finish the game and not have paid a dime for it...which is what I'm doing at the moment.

Actually I buy the game for the story. I actually like the KZ lore...so to speak. Then again I played the first one before all the hype surrounding it now. Not that it makes me better or anything.
Just saying I hope they flesh it out more or people will complain that there is no story. Should mean something of why your doing what your doing. Otherwise what's the purpose to the game.

Seriously though, no disrespect but perhaps you should wait until the ending credits and see how the game is. Maybe he does die...and even if he doesn't perhaps the developers have a bigger plan in mind for him.

I do know however if you have a chance to play this game then you def. should take the chance. Very creative concept behind this. Cross between Little Big planet and "The Little" ...a cartoon show back in the days.
I don't know something about this game, and I love how they don't speak but give you the old say something then it pops on an old tv screen effe...
You know...after playing the demo. I thought it was rather fun. KZ is more a serious thing. With Bstrm i was just having fun finding ways to kill people.. The enemies are very forgettable though, and I think it would get repetitive...if not for the constant ways to off people.
Without that...the game would not be notiecable. But I guess that's what the people are going for.

In relation to gaming, core would be the first people who played, the dungeon dwellers, the fathers, you and me. People over 30...people who remember Contra, Ultra 64, Super NES, Zelda in pixels.

Of course COD will die. Personally I think you have already seen the decline of the market. Granted it sold like hot cakes, but take into account all the negative press surrounding it and its problems/glitches/bugs/etc.
I remember telling my boy say 3years ago that GH was going down the drain by releasing all the songs over and over again as new games and what not. Charging people for the same crap. Great gimmick, but ultimately people will catch on eventually.

I'm not going to state when the PS3 came out. But I do remember them saying it has a 10yr life cycle. I have no doubts that Nintendo and Microsoft will release their consoles first...or at the least hint of them as you have spoken above.
That being said I'd agree to you to the point of MS lowering their hardware price.

Yeah unless I'm mistaken Gears has only 2 titles correct? I don't think that's milking either. Halo...hm I'd agree its milking the franchise a bit. I haven't played ODST. Last one I tried was Reach. Played 3hrs...and couldn't go from there. Not that the game was bad or anything, just that I started to feel dizzy.
