I'm curious, is it possible to post a review yourself after having played the game?
Like for instance this is a game I want to review and show it on here, is that possible.
Also across the board every major site should in fact have a standard review template, with a standard scoring template.
Standard categories, also maybe a secondary reviewer.
1-10 should be the scale unless you can show me a better way of giving a review its ma...

Why don't both camps just pick certain sites and have an agreement on those sites. Then just look at those sites and see the average between both games.

It just doesn't add up, track editor, all those cars, online just odd. Though I don't know the features of forza but if GT5 has those features and more then they should have the same score or better.

Its easier to be negative and blow stuff out of proportion. Personally with all the stuff in the game, I can't see it getting an 8.5. Doesn't the addition of all those features fall into the realm of presentation, or lasting appeal? Online mode to play against other people...shouldn't that have made it a 10?

I've personally never played Forza before, so I can't say which one is better. I do think reviews are kind of skewed in a way though, like why would they wait embargo or not to score the game but put up a review without the score.

Mostly because I've already made and informed decision about a game. I am however curious to see what the reviewer thought, and why they rated a game,movie,etc as such.
Reviews are helpful, but only when they are done with no bias.
is everyone getting this day 1....I tried getting it from Amazon and for some reason they wont ship to me on that day. But I'd have to wait another week just to get it.

Personally man I don't have one so let me get that out of the way.
I would say this. If your looking to get one, at the very least wait 2-3 months before doing so. I think the hype and hating needs to die down. I can't logically support this thing, because I know it's no good. That is entirely my opinion, but if you have to get one. Just wait like 2 months or so.
Give people time to test it out, post and tweak it for you so you don't have to ...
