There are a lot of things MS has gotten right with the X1. I notice MS always makes a better os than sony for one.

The only problem with what you said is that the X1 also plays great games. The X1 is an all in one device that connects your living room into one device. The ps4 doesn't offer much of anything in that regard. Both systems play games one just has more functionality than the other.
You can skype while you play games you just cant video Skype while playing a game.
My Kinect works fine for what I use it for. The only command Kinect really has a problem for me is "Xbox On". I don't know what it is about that one command, everything else woks great with Kinect.Its incredibly easy to go to a game regardless of what your doing by just saying "Xbox goto *insert game name here*.I like Kinect, I think its worth it. Skype,video editing tools, as well as Twitch are all good reasons to like Kinect.

Thanks for contributing your opinion and at least one flat lie. The only advantage that sony has is price. The X1 is a better device for the living room. And that's what sony and MS want to control the living room. MS has created a console that is an all in one device. The ps4 doesn't have much connectivity features at all. With the X1 I can control my whole entertainment center(as well as features for tablets and cellphones)as simple as speaking.
The X1 has only been released in 13 countries so far. The X1 is doing just fine right now. Titanfall won like 80 awards in the past year. I would say it was highly anticipated.

MS fired the guy behind the DRM policy and completetly dropped their DRM policy. Sounds to me like MS got the message. Don't tell me you prefer sony who put a $600 price tag on the ps3, even though the Cell(which turned out to be a garbage processor) and Blu-ray were in house products.I could name off plenty of instances sony has looked like an ass. As time goes on and MS releases more games all will be forgiven, just like sony.

MS isn't any more evil than sony. Do you remember the rootkit virus that infected any sony music users computer? What about how sony wanted people to work 2 jobs to buy a ps3? What about how sony called americans cheap? What about how they bold faced lied about the Killzone cgi, calling it gameplay? Your post doesnt disprove anything I posted. All those developers have had time with both the X1 and ps4. And have stated they are comparable in power. All had had hands on time with both consoles at the time of those stories. Yu are just butt hurt that it doesn't support you pro-sony agenda.

Entertaining read. I can remember several midnight launches. Longest line Iv seen for a game has got to be Skyrim at my local Gamestop. I bet there were probably 200 people in line.
I don't think Phil Spencer should have to apologize for the mistakes Don Mattrick made. As for fixing their mistake, MS has already gotten rid of the guy who wanted the DRM issues, and completely gotten rid of the DRM policy. I don't think MS needs to do anything else. Sony had the same situation last gen with Ken Kutaragi and the ps3. If the ps3 can overcome its bad image at the start, the X1 can overcome its bad press. If Twitch.tv has a support page, you should check it out and let them know about the issues. Im sure there are a number of things server related that could cause issues. Maybe they will have a fix for you. I notice that there are settings in the X1 that have to be a certain way. I agree. You don't see the same player numbers if the online MP is tacked on. Some prove to have great online MP others have great SP, and everything in between. MP only titles are kind of rare. A few have done really well, some have not. Titanfall seems to be a hit.

Kinect for the X1 does a lot more than just play games. I think devs know at the very beginning whether or not they want Kinect to be an option for their game.

Maybe you should upgrade your internet. Obviously, I don't know your situation as far as the internet goes. But these games have dedicated servers, you are experiencing the most lag free internet environment possible for an online game. Might be time to upgrade.
