It's a good game. Not perfect, but a worthy sequel IMHO. Not a popular opinion, though.
Nailed it. We will see most if not all foreign produced consumer goods get price hikes.
Is what it is. You can't look anywhere without seeing one side being offended and the other being offended because the first was offended.... offended. It used to be that if you didn't like the content of a game you just didn't play it. Now it seems like everyone feels entitled to have every game made to cater their specific values and it's the end of the world if not.
While I appreciate them not virtue signaling with this remake, I am saddened that this is newsworthy. It's tiring being surrounded by offended people all the time.
I just hope it's not a bunch MCU Snarky McJokeface dialog. Started playing veilguard free on PSN (would not recommend) and it's a perfect example of how dialog in contemporary entertainment is garbage.
Bullshit.
Is anyone really surprised? This is the same company that once considered charging for every time you reload your weapon in Battlefield. These guys are the worst.
I'm one of those godless inverted Y axis hethans. World wouldn't let you fuck with that setting until after the opening sequence.
Why bother? Let the series die. AC was stagnant before origins and quickly again after. Like all modern Ubi games, there is no soul. It's just a vehicle for microtransactions. Management is inept. The writing is a bland and homogeneous paste. They keep being told exactly where they are going wrong and they just keep trucking on along the same road and being surprised when the consumers hate the same shit they have hated a hundred times before. Ubi has made themselves irrelevant with thei...
Do they let you change the controls in the opening? My biggest complaint with world is being stuck with default camera controls through the opening sequence.
Is anyone surprised? I know people got their butt's all hurt when they decided to go first person on the first, but in the end that's what we got. I'm in no way surprised they are following up the same way.
Well, no shit.
Ha! OK. Tell me your game is shit without telling me your game is shit.
Game is getting very mixed reviews. I'm interested. I have enjoyed all of Obsidian's games... but I don't expect this to be great. Good, yes... not great. But, I could be surprised. I saw a mixed reception of stalker 2, and I am completely in love with that game. So who knows. Avowed may surprise me.
I loved DD2. Not the best game ever, but I found it to be worth my money.
Henry did well, but any non live action needs Doug.
You aren't wrong, but I was about 5 years old when my dad brought the movie home on VHS. I was the perfect age for that movie to make a massive impact on me. It was kickboxer, robocop, and top gun that were always in our VCR. I can still vividly remember the music playing when they get to Thailand going through the canals on the boat. Kids doing flips into the canal. Market boats selling their wares. I need to watch kickboxer again. Tong Po was, to a child, a very compelling villain.
They really did have no choice. It's too bad, though. Sony needs real competition to keep them on top of their game. They have a history of being pretty anticonsumer when they can get away with it. Microsoft offered that competition the OG xbox and 360. But they couldn't stay out of their own damn way past those. Maybe they were just flukes. But there needs to be a viable alternative to keep the home console market consumer friendly.
No they don't. It would be a pale imitation. The silent hill 2 remake was great. Bloober team has always listened SH as their biggest influence. That love showed in the final project. Instead of silent hills, give bloober a shot at an original SH game. Kojima is gone. Nothing will change that. Even Konami understands that. That's what MGS delta is using the original voice tracks and cutscene animations. They all know that Kojima had his style and nobody is going to replicate it.
Nooooo. Nintendo wouldn't force it's customers to by a (probably more expensive) new version of their most popular games to get the new gen benefits... never.
