With the way companies use paid shills, and shill websites to effect public perception it isnt a surprise that some game makers keep their games close to their chest. The fact that there is an open beta 5 days before the game is released that will allow everyyone to try the game for theirself negates any argument someone might have about giving out review copies of the game. You dont need someone to tell you whether you should like a game when you can try it for yourself for free.

: ) lol I didnt know that, I just assumed millenium = millenials. Learn something new everyday I guess.
lol very similar encounter for me as well, seriously what other correlation is there besides an erection? Whoever posted this story probably writes fantastic poetry.
i believe this game is going to define a new multiplayer genre.
If Millenials got slapped with 3 lives. and 3 continues to beat a game now days the world would explode. The crazy part is for years you didnt even get 3 continues. My latest dip into old school tenacity had me traveling to the center of the Milky Way galaxy and back in Elite Dangerous. Thats around 52,000 light years round trip. Took me 2 weeks. Its a 1% diamond achievemnt for just making it to the center without coming back.
That is good to hear. I havent played the game yet, but have been watching several streams. It looked like it ran pretty well for the most part. I hadnt even looked at it til last week. I can tell its going to be a good game. probably addicting to anyone that plays it long enough to learn it. Im stoked for the open beta.
This game is about to blow up. Take a good look folks, this is the start of a AAA series. The only thing that could hurt it is the use of the P2P server system. I believe that was a design choice though. P2P in its ideal environment has better response time because data only has to hit your machine, and the host. Instead of having to hit a server as well. There will be connection issues though its unavoidable with a P2P server system. I hope isn't game breaking. People modifying the softw...
Why o Why
Truth be told none of the big 3 have anything to worry about. As Ive said before there have only been two catastrophic reasons that brought about the death of a major console. First was overwhelming software stagnation brought about by a lack of hardware progression. Second was an all or nothing investment in hardware without long term sustaining capitol. None of the three major console makers are in any catastrophic trouble, despite the fear mongering that goe...
Microsoft will be hot from the time the Scorpio launches til Sony and/or Nintendo build something with better hardware. However it wouldnt be at all surprising to see Sony announce their next Playstation project at E3. Even if its 2 or 3 years away.
Reading through your comments, just out of curiosity if you don't mind me asking of course, how old are you? I'm kind of researching something surrounding aggregate websites and different topics like politics, gaming, public perception etc, etc.

Nonsense.
I mostly disagree with your perspective. Graphics have been and always will be in the top list of what gamers want. It should also be pointed out that a very large part of the success of the PS4 has been because it is more powerful than the XB1. Those same gamers that bought PS4s because of its power advantage will buy the Scorpio.
Exclusives are important, but it takes a AAA exclusive, or a high quality niche title, for them to be of any great significance. Obviously that ...

I believe that is true to a point. Hardware plays a big part of it too. If it didn't we would all still be playing on an Atari 2600, or Commadore 64. The lack of hardware improvements was the catalyst that folded the console market in that era. The progression of hardware is just as important as quality software.

What you will see is the PS4 getting assuredness from Japanese publishers and small studio support. AAA publishers wi...
I get his point about managing expectations, but at the same time the Scorpio will indeed be the most powerful console ever built at this point in time. So at the very least whatever console a person is playing on now shouldn't stand up to it. I could only see it being a disappointment if the difference between what is currently on the market and the performance of the Scorpio can only be "seen" using equipment like the Digital Foundry guys use. If I have to rely on a website li...
Sony were actually the first console company to offer backwards compatibility. The PS3 put a stop to it until they brought about PS Now. Not being made to rebuy games is a good thing.
The Division probably has something to do with the caution folks have towards this game. I got burnt by getting over excited for The Division. I like what Ive been reading about Wildlands though. But this time I'm taking the cautious approach.
lol Why are you here? Are you a 12yr old or a paid shill? I'm starting to realize that mature conversation is hard to find here.
Honestly, I don't think you know which "genre" Sea of Thieves is. Declaring it dead is a hoot lol

Actually I have no idea what you or that other kid(or shill maybe?) are wailing about. I am very confident that if a console maker pays for premium hardware that hardware will be utilized to expectation. Thats common sense.

: ) Is that the argument you are using on the middle school playground? What is it like being the only person on the planet that believes the extra power of the PS Pro and Xbox Scorpio wont be taken advantage of? Grow up kid lol
Nah, looking atleast a flat 8, Im expecting 9s though. Of course expect 5s and 6s from no name sites that cant make rent and need those clicks.
