"MS does not have that backbone"
Microsoft could have waited out the console cycle of the Xbox One, instead they ejected Don Mattrick and promoted Phil Spencer. Since becoming head of Xbox, he has ditched Kinect, brought many community desired features to the Xbox, signed EA Access, made better inroads for indie developers, created Game Pass, began the backward compatibility program, started Xbox Anywhere, and is going to release the most powerful console ever bui...
How does an optional service equate to "guaranteed income"? I think sublimely you realize what a great value the service is but don't want to say so.

You win the internet.
I haven't heard what it is decidedly called, it is good enough to be defined as a new genre imo
What used to be middle school playground pissing contests has evolved into full on war lol. Something people seem to be completely unaware of, or are deliberately avoiding the conversation, is the existence of paid shills, and shill ran websites. There are shills on this site, as well as shill ran website that post stories here. Call me an optimist, but I refuse to believe a normal adult would behave like a 12yr old without getting paid to act so revolting. I would urge everyone on this site ...
lol oh noes...wheres my copy of Sewer Shark to give as a peace offering 😭

I know this, you need to grow up kid. Restart, do not save, yes. Attitude is a choice, not a terminal illness.
lol Youre out of your mind. Havin a bad day pumpkin?😆
I think Phil Spencer is finishing up cleaning up the mess his predecessor made. He has made some very positive changes with the Xbox One, the Scorpio is his first console as head of Xbox. His vision is in touch with gamers far more than any other industry head that Ive seen since the maturity of videogames, and Ive been gaming over 35yrs. Ive seen them come and go, and the only one that comes close is Ken Kutaragi in his early years.
Something that isnt discussed in this write up is the revenue fall off after a game is released. Within a month the amount of money a publisher is making on a game drops dramatically. After 6 months, you are lucky to even see a new hard copy. After a year most games have stopped bringing in revenue all together. If the interest someone has in a game is so low that they are willing to wait until a game has become nearly worthless(from a business standpoint) so they can pick it up cheap, then w...
No. Services like this are turning dead games into revenue. Its no different than Gamestop selling used games, except its cheaper. Its a win win for everyone, including gamers. It gives a game a better chance at exposure which could possibly build a fanbase. It also could reinvigorate an online community. There really is no downside no matter what perspective you view it from.

Abandoning a project that doesnt fit a companies primary userbase isnt a mistake. Japanese styled games have never done well on the Xbox, not even in Japan. Scalebound belonged on the Playstation where it might have found a fanbase. Sony should pick it up. That isnt a knock against Japanese developers. FROM Software and Square Enix have made some incredible titles that have done well on the Xbox. Its the style that is a niche on the Xbox.
Not sure about finished games, it would be speculation on my part. If we knew how many and how long development kits have been available. Ports will obviously be higher resolution and framerate compared to other consoles. It isnt any extra work for that. I want to see something crafted for the Scorpio. It might be a little early for that.
I agree. Phil Spencer saw what I saw, a game that was going to suck.
Godmars is a shill. His m.o. is perfect. Tell us how many people have used your tag since whoever you work for created the Godmars account?
I am pretty special, thank you 🙂. That means a lot coming from a shill. Be sure and tell your fellow shills about me.
Go away lol. Your ignorance of this game is annoying.
From what I have read you can play solo.

Sony will probably announce something at E3. They need to scrap the streaming and go with hard storage. Pretty ironic they use streaming as opposed to something that doesnt require an always online internet connection. EA Access has shown that there is a revenue stream possible on not so new/older games. Its really a good idea for everyone involved except brick and mortar shops selling used games. Sony will jump on the wagon at some point surely. It is just a good bu...
I think keeping expectations low is the best mindset for the Scorpio right now. It will likely be lucky to perform on par with the PlayStation Pro. Its impossible for the Scorpio to do 4K native at 60fps because the Pro cant do it. We also know that the Scorpio will never have any games because Sony is the only company that has a game console that has games. Also, why would a hardcore gamer want the most powerful console ever built when it isn't going to have any games? We also know that ...
