When you say PEOPLE WANT THEM, that only includes Hardcore Gamers. They are the only ones willing to drop $4-5 hundred on a new system. (me included)
All I'm saying is if there was more inventory they wouldn't be sold out, but they do this on purpose. (Supple in demand)
People do want the Wii U 3M sold at launch. The rest that want it are waiting for their favorite Nintendo game comes out. That's the 3DS is the fastest selling system in history, b...
@310dodo
That's because they're short on inventory. I think thay would be sold out if there were 3m consoles ready for launch. At least I know I'll be getting both of mine on launch day.
I thinks most people will wait until the PS4 and especially XBONE drops their prices, but I won't be one of them.
What's holding up the Wii U is the same thing that's going to hold back the PS4 & XBONE. What is holding them back is how good current gen still looks, especially for casual gamers. Why drop stack of cash on new systems when there is still plenty of life left in the PS3 & 360 with tons of cheap games. Most of the Hardcore Gamers will pick up new systems at launch, but after that it will die down. So in six months all Hardcore gamers will be in Denial.
Real gamers have all three systems. So you are NOT a real gamer.
By the end of the year I'll have all of the following systems: XBOX,360, XBONE, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, Wii U, 3DS, DS lite, Saturn,& Dreamcast
The system I like the most at this moment is the 3DS, due to the software available. That should be changing soon though.
I wish Nintnedo would release some of the Exploding Rabbit games on the eShop. Like Mario cross over and Super Mario return to dinosaur land. That would be awesome.
I'm a fan of all three systems, but I think after the launch of PS4 & XBONE. All the launch titles will dry up around February. This is when Nintendo should drop the price to $250 and with Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong and a announcement of the Wii U Zelda game. The Wii U will take off!
Well, Nintendo is the only free online play. The online community is small now, but it will grow on the Wii U. There are a lot of parents that won't pay for online play and this is how PS got their online community. So the developers will eventually support the Wii U correctly. This will be good for Nintendo as it will make another big generation of Nintendo fans with nice Nintendo video game roots. Like most Hardcore gamers have. Whether they want to admit it or not.
Yes, November 22 is my Christmas this year. Mario 3D World and a Gold 3DS XL with Link Between Worlds. Now all I need is Limited Edition Treasure Chest, which hasn't been announced in America yet.
This list would be better if it was PS3 exclusives only.
What do you think a casual gamer is? Also, what is a hardcore gamer?
Yes, but it's a $1.50
When the smoke clears everyone will see the lack of launch titles for the PS4 & XBONE. Then they'll be running to buy the Wii U.
Sony and MS target audiences is losing steam because all the hardcore gamers will be playing on the Steam Box Next Gen.
The post launch of the PS4 & XBONE will be good for Nintendo. This is when all the NEXT GEN launch titles will dry up and everyone will notice all the great games Nintendo has released on the Wii U. I can see GameStop having trade in specials. Trade in your XBONE and get a Wii U with 3 games.
You do know that Casual gamers are around 75% of the market.
Nintendo multiplayer games are more fun when played in the same room, but it would be cool to play co-op mario online.
I think Link to the past should be available for the Wii U instead of the Wii. Nintendo all I want to do is play Link to the past on the gamepad before Link between worlds is released.
Crap like this is why we have home consoles today.
If I didn't read about this I would have never known, because I don't shop there. Wal-mart is for brainless sheep. Anyone that uses their head known that can get better deals in other stores.
