Nintendo is for the family gamer. I have a two year old and he goes from room to room. With the gamepad I can follow him around house and continue gaming.
@chrono
Good luck with your expensive Hardware with broken online games. I'll be playing all the great Nintendo games in 2014. We still have a year until the two new systems will have true next-gen games on them.
So, are people really delusional if they want to enjoy Great Nintendo game that are available now? or are you delusional for thinking Nintendo would fail.
I thought the same thing until I realized that the gamepad is awesome for the SNES classics. Now I want all my VC games on the Wii U. I got Earthbound for Wii U VC even though I have the original cart and I must say the Gamepad is the perfect retro game console. Only if Nintendo would release more games faster.
Agreed
You can get them at $250 with the Black Friday Sales.
Sorry The Wii U is a must have for me. The Virtual Console is awesome, but does need more games. Mario 3D World is better than I thought and Mario Kart 8 is coming soon. the Wii U is starting to have a pretty good library of games. Just like the 3DS. Now I'm just waiting to see what I'm getting next PS4 or XBONE. I should know by this time next year.
The 3DS is the best system on the market at this moment. That will be changing soon once Mario Kart & SSB comes out. 2014 will be the year of The Wii U. After that PS4 & XBONE will start picking up steam.
Hope you pre-ordered. If not that will stop you for a little while.
Thanks Nintendo! Novemebr 22 was Christmas for me this year. Link between worlds with a Gold 3DS & SM3DWorld. Now only if I could've got my hands on the limited edition Treasure Chest.
The PS4 & XBONE both need to lower their price. This gen I want all three consoles, but I won't pay more than $300 for a system. looks like I'll be play the Wii U for awhile.
The XBONE needs to drop the price before I'm buying one.
That's because they don't have the Wii U. If they had the choice between iPad and the Wii U gamepad. the Gamepad would win every time. The controls are not user friendly when all you have is a touch screen for controls. I just don't understand why people think tablet games will take over hand held market. Especially with all the poorly made games on them.
Wasn't the XBONE supposed to turn on in one second after you say "Xbox on"? That's what I saw in the demo when the XBONE was announced.
Not True Nintendo will also be around.
I still have my copy as well, but I also have my GC. Wait a minute I still have the NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, & Wii U. I just can't sell them.
They need to release Link to the past on the Wii U VC!
I got the Wii for the Mario and Zelda games, then late in the Wii life Xenoblades. These games are why people hate on Nintendo, because they want to play them, but are too cheap to buy two consoles.
Boom Blocks is a lot of funny with friends & family. IMO The Wii appeals to both casual and True Hardcore gamers. What I like most about Nintendo are the games that bring the whole family together. That can't be done online with one console.
Did you break your gamepad?
Not for playing video games.
My suggestion would be for the devs & software companies. All of them are still butthurt over last gen. All of them laughed at the Wii in 2006. Said it would fail, but Nintendo got the last laugh by selling 100,000,000 Wiis. Just think about the installmentbase that games missed out on because the game couldn't be ported on the Wii due to lack of power. This is the reason 3rd party won't support the Wii U. So Devs & Software companies it's better if you work with Nintendo ...
