Your logic is correct, but shouldn't the Wii U be the primary device? Because the other devices are for 3rd party games.
They also say the Wii U dead, but it looks like it's going to have a great second half this year.
I'm the real winner with all three consoles.

The fanboy wars are ridiculous, but Microsoft is getting its first big taste of this Gen. Nintendo has for the most part always had it the worst. Playstation had it bad last Gen.
It is fun to debate as long as the low blow aren't used.
Most people hate on a console because they can afford all three consoles.
I noticed some last night and it was beginning of the game. I'm worried about it at all.

I just thought they might because some of their exclusives are released on PC.
I don't believe it will, but some people think the next one will.

I was able to purchase Knack for $20 and I'm still waiting to find Ryse for $20. Same going for Tomb Raider on PS4.
I've got to big of a back log to pay full price for those games.
When #6 happens is when Microsoft will try and purchase Sony. It's an American company and they play dirty like J. P. Morgan. Especially if Sony's other departments continue to bleed money.

Nintendo is NOT in competition with the X1. They are in different categories. The X1 & PS4 copy each other and Nintendo. Nintendo is in its own world which works for them. All three of have evolved gaming for the better. So why hate on one of them?
Lets just hope Microsoft doesn't purchase Sony. As Sony's other departments are gushing red ink.
The thing that sucks is about 10% of the LE pre-orders will end up on eBay. This always happen with Nintendo LE.

I'm holding out for Valiant Hearts until it comes to the Wii U. Even though I have the PS4 & X1.
Child of light was awesome on the Gampad and think Valiant Hearts will be the same.

It's already sucks that all RPGs don't come to the Wii U.

Nintendo knows there are a lot of collectors that would love to have NES Remix in their collection.
This is only reason for releasing the physical copy or maybe for people that don't have internet. Also, this isn't the game Nintendo released digitally first followed by a physical copy release.
Then the 360 shouldn't have benn used either. I ready don't care about hardware sales. Just future software coming out on all three consoles & the 3DS. I like PS, MS & Nintendo.

The iiPhone shouldn't be considered a gaming platform. Just like the x1 & PS4 shouldn't be considered a multimedia center. IMO
What casual gamer would play Bioshock? What hardcore would play BioShock on the iPhone?
Look at the installment base of the PS3 and the 360 and then look at installment base of the Wii U. The Wii U sold more than the PS3 and 360 combine.
You have to put your media where your consumers are.
