People are only saying this because the Wii U is out selling the PS4 in Japan.
I believe the future of handhelds will be that they're included with the next gen consoles.
The Nintendo consoles will have a 3DS/gamepad hybrid with wifi and of course be backward compatible with the 3DS & Wii U.
Sony & MS will do the same.

I thought the beta was great, but then I'm Halo fan and I've never played a COD game.
It wold be nice if you could play your Wii U games on the go with The New 3DS. Where ever you access to wifi.

I've been waiting for this to happen. Isn't even come to NA until 2015. With the the extra bumper bottom and control stick, I'm hoping it'll let you play Wii U games on the go where ever you have wifi access. Also, I bet this new 3DS will allow you to to merge together the VC games from both Wii U & 3DS.
Nintendo has provide me with everything I expected out of the Wii U, but they could've had more games at launch and more virtual consoles.
IMO Kinect had nothing to do with MS slowed. It was how big of a deal the media made out of 3rd party games looking some much better on PS4. It's true though.
All I want from Nintendo is for them to release more virtual console games, continue making their quality games, and make sure all RPGs released on the Wii U...
They lost COD!
So, they now have no choice but focus on the core games.
I'm more concerned with what retro tracks are being added. In my book added karts and characters are just a bonus.
At the end of this gen Nintendo will have made the most money and have more quality exclusives than MS & Sony.
That's the true winner in my book.
I'm just glad with TV has the Wii U, PS4 & X1 under it.
I'm set for the gen.
The game is not a system seller, but it makes the library that much more appealing.

I think RPGs will sale well on the Wii U. The gamepad makes the Wii U my preferred platform for all RPGs.

The Wii U needs the Stick of truth and Valiant Heart ASAP. I would purchase those games day of release, but only on Wii U.
My main system is the Wii U, due to the convenience of the gamepad. I just wish it had twice the range.

Wii U>PS4>X1>3DS>PS3&g t;360>NES & SNES

3rd party support would help Nintendo, but they don't need it like Microsoft & Sony need 3rd party games.

Nintendo gets the bad end of the stick most of the time. MS has only seen the tip of the iceberg of how bad fanboys can bash a system.
Smaller user base = dumping money for 3rd party timed exclusives.
It would be better for both sides of the fanboys if MS & Sony had equal sales.
The Wii U is better than the Wii. The big difference is that the Wii got tons of great press and the Wii U got tons horrible press. The media has all the sheep under control. look at the music industry.
This is why more and more Devs are going indie. Games use to be made for the love of gaming, but now it's all about making money. cough EA cough MS cough AV.
Can't wait until the indie scene puts the AAA companies out of business.
