I've had good luck as well. Traded Captain Falcon for Lucario and traded Little Mac for Villager. Next I'm trading Rosalina for Meta Knight.
Did a blue ball of electricity trade it to you?
You hit the nail right on the head. IMO Most 3rd party games are put together like Boy Bands. To make money and only money. It's not about the art or love for gaming.
I wish the publishers would let the developers keep their dignity with the games they've creating. Instead we broken games, empty feeling games with DLCs, or horrible gameplay mechanics.
EA & Ubi I'm look at you.
With only reading 1 word, why bother making a comment?
I agree with you, but it's a sad day. Especially if you wanted an Amiibo instead of a card. Nintendo should've stopped selling Amiibos at retailers and started selling on the Nintendo web-site only.
It's funny because people usually make the opposite compliant about movies. (That movie would've been great if it was 30 minutes shorter).
There have been a lot of AAA games that sell very well and still lose money. With all the power consoles now have games cost a lot more to produce. This problem is causing games to feel incomplete when released. Then a DLC is released a month later. It's like a cat and mouse game. Developers want to make cutting edge games, but with a $60 price point budget just doesn't seem like reality. So, publishers are trying to off set this problem with DLC. Before you know it games will have a ...
Correct they know how it make money. The problem with people like this is they will kill a company to HUGE profits fast. They never think about the long term.
Then you see 3rd party companies selling 6M copies of their game and then they say we lost money. This is why we are starting to see DLC gate with Destiny & Evolve. Game on the PS4 & X1 take way to much man power to achieve cutting edge high fidelity graphics that's not even 1080p 60fps.

You won't see this happen on the Wii U.
@Foxtrot
What makes you more mad the Gamepad or 3rd party companies doing stuff like this?
@wonderfulmonkeyman
Everything you listed above is true, but 3rd party companies are doing this on purpose. They don't like Nintendo's policies or their quality games. Just think about if 3rd party companies forced Nintendo out of the hardware business. Then Nintendo wouldn't have the capital or the power to create their full vision of gaming. This in the end would make MORE 3rd party games a lot better than they're viewed today.
My fav was Donkey Kong 64.
@jackanderson1985
Games like COD are made to make money. It's the same concept as boy bands. Nintendo and the other hand goes against the gain of the mainstream and shows what we really want in video games. Everyone know 3rd party game are hit or miss. It completely suck when you buy a 3rd party game on launch and then next month it's $30 cheaper because it sucks.
A number of those games are on the Wii virtual consoles. Them just haven't made it to the Wii U Virtual console. My question is why?
Transistor
There are people without the Wii U? I didn't think they actually existed./s
3rd party companies gave up on Nintendo before the Wii U was released. It's all about the politics in the gaming industry. That's what I like about Nintendo they are not giving in to the 3rd party companies to rape the consumers. MS & Sony have no problems with that at all. Just look at the difference between 3rd party DLC and Nintendo DLC. The only problem I have with Nintendo is the availability of the LE releases & Amiibos.
I do support MS, Sony & Ninte...
I agree with your logic. Video games is not a race. 20 years from now more Nintendo games will be remembered then 3rd party games. I'm not saying there are no amazing 3rd party games, but there are tons of shovelware 3rd party games. (like the Wii library)
Agreed
We can play these games on the Wii U already. Nintendo we need GC & 64 games.
With a real job like the rest of us.
It's all comes down to politics. IMO
