Reputation is important. The NFL has a really bad reputation, but grosses over 8 billion a year. This makes your point invalid.
In my book anyone with a DUI or is a women beaters is just as bad as a racist.
I bet their bank accounts are pleased. This is not news to me. As I have all three consoles. I want Sony to release a console with a 5TB HD. That will get me to purchase another PS4. I just had to delete stuff because of the Witcher 3 batch. I don't purchase console systems to change hardware.
Sorry for storage space rant.
Risk is a big part of business! Kickstarter for video games is almost as bad as cities buying Football Stadiums for their local team. The video game market nets more money then Hollywood. So, the risk isn't huge.
I need to delete something!
That could actual happen and the gimmick would be highend PC hardware.
The gamepad is amazing IMO. I hoping the NX has one or at least is compatible with it. Us Wii U owner want backwards compatibility with the NX.
Nintendo has not played it safe at all. They always do what they want and not what the industry wants. That's not playing safe by any means.
Both of you are wrong.
Nintendo doesn't make decisions that make business sense, especially in today's market. They have their vision and they don't let competitors or the market steer that vision.
What console has the bast games; that subjective. What console is commercially on top that doesn't matter; along as the console is supported with quality games. All three consoles have great support.
The same thing was said about the GameCube, Wii, & Wii U.
I really want Nintendo purchase Konami and then tehy could bring back Kojima.
At least they're not treating him like people in Hollywood, because when they die the media just brings out all their skeletons.
With that said Don't agree with the article.
If you don't want to hear about Iwata then don't click on his articles.
The gaming industry is not dead, but it is changing. Some people think it's dying because of these changes. Iwata was a person valued the old style of gaming and people loved him for that. This is one of the reasons I love Indie games. Most of those games are made for the love of gaming; not to only make money.
Me myself I like both old school and new school gaming.
I agree they need to be up front with their fans. Especially now. They're making me feel like they don't want to give anyone a reason to purchase a Wii U, Maybe because the NX will release right after E3 2016. That would be a great time to release a new console.
Still I'm excite for the rest of this years releases.
@Sureshot
If you only have a PS4 I feel sorry for you.
The power of three consoles.
I'm the same way with my New 3DS.
What are you talking about?
In Zombi U you use the gamepad to scan the area. This game made every good use of the gamepad, maybe even the best. IMO
The Zombi game will feel completely different without the gamepad. Can't see using an iPad unless you can attach it your controller some how.
@Mr_Writer85
The Wii was not a fluke. IMO The Wii does have a ton of games still hold up great. The controller isn't a gimmick at all. Games to this day still use them. Like Mario Party 10. Now I wish Nintendo would give us an opinion to use a normal controller with every game. A lot of the shovel ware on the Wii, but the same thing can be say about most consoles. Ever the PS2 has a large amount of shovel ware.
In the end just play your PS4 and X1 if you ...
It maybe on it's way out, but it's not dead in my house. Then again my SNES isn't dead in my house either.
I'm looking forward to moving my Wii U to my bedroom. Just like I did with my PS3, 360, Wii.
Maybe I'll finally box up my Wii when I purchase the Wii U. I'll put it in my closet next to all PS1 JRPGs.
Their next consoles needs to be more power than the PS4.
