Funny how people went ballistic over Sony getting Destiny DLC, but Microsoft are so picked on around here.
Sony can't even get DLC without people freaking out!
Microsoft made the practice of money hatting third party's popular in the first place! Of course third party's aren't going to turn down truck loads of Microsoft's monopoly money.
@OpieWinston
If Microsoft has no control over where the ip goes after the deal ends then why would CD not want to put it on the most popular console after? That is insanely naïve to think they wouldn't want it on the PS4. Microsoft can't keep them from doing that, per spencer's own words. Why does it even matter that much to people? Tomb Raider seems to be the new hot game now, funny how that happens when things become pseudo "exclusive".
I do agree with him that Bloodborne looks to be game of the year material, but I don't agree that it is on Xbox1.
If it doesn't do anything well it still does it better than the competition...
over 10 million people would not be fooled by hype.
PS4 has -
Arguably better AAA exclusives
better versions of many multiplats
better indie support
Better first party studios
No, the media has not influenced over 10 million people to buy a PS4, but people gotta say whatever they can to justify their own purchase I suppose. Nintendo and Sony are the top of the industry and continue to be.
This is exactly why PS Now is a great idea for a service (yes I know the price sucks currently), it creates ONE place for ALL publishers to have games digitally.
If things like Access get popular who knows how many crappy publisher specific pay walls our games will be behind in the future and the prices for each...
I wish they would do another move sports game, those were actually very good!
You think them demanding 1080p is for the gamers? It's for them to save face...
Resolution is a good thing again around here? I thought we were supposed to "play the games, not the res" and forget resolution even existed, because hardware up scaling is just as good and nobody can see a difference?? hmm
Has digital foundry done a comparison of the two yet, to explain technical differences in detail? I would actually like to see it.
I agree that it has some to do with hype, but I think Sony has also proven to bring amazing first party games and support their consoles long term. People understand the quality of Sony studios and consoles I think and are willing to buy a product that will be supported by their first party studios long term with arguably the best quality first party games.
Also people understand that as far as third party games you can't go wrong with the PS4, while the X1 could be a bit...
honestly, Quantum Break looks amazing to me. The gameplay looks so fun and different, very unique. I think the Order looks fun too, but they are very different types of games. Even though I am a Sony gamer I feel that Quantum Break looks like one of the best games I have seen coming, easily. It is exactly what I am hoping Quantic Dreams games will be like someday.
It looks great and very exciting. I love the setting. I think it could have a shot at it, but I will need to see more than the short demo of it.
Nah, you can tell it is flame bait by reading it... The wording he uses and such. I think the game looks really fun, I will wait until reviews of it come out of the final product to decide whether or not I purchase.
Holy SHHHHH.... WOWWW
The sense of speed while racing tells me DC devs were going for fun, realistic gameplay.
Drive Club looks to have much more exciting races due to that amazing sense of speed. Obviously Drive Club was going for realism and quality. I think it looks like a better racer personally, I could care less about damage or a million features.
It's not even the right comparison, compare FH2 to the Crew, the Crew has a bigger and better open world.
First off DC is going for quality and realism, this isn't a good comparison because they aren't even the same type of game.
The crew vs forza H2 would be better, with the crew looking to have a much bigger and better open world...
I love the looks of this, I can't wait to get lost in it.
