Given they didn't mention the Vita version, they might have copied the platform selection text from a different game. It's the weekend before the holidays so they might not correct it for a few days.
Of course Sony's best selling game isn't their's or on a platform they treat like their own.
No Tagforce 7 for Vita?
I wonder how much money SCEJA lost on Gravity Rush Remastered. They had TV ads, huge building posters, tonnes of product tie-ins, etc. Making GR2 PS4-only is going to turn out to be a costly mistake.
This only exists so that they can get fans ready for SaGa Scarlet Graces. Jeeze. Also, Square Enix has been very good with price parity for their mobile ports on Vita so far.
In Japan the Vita calendar app is kind of cool because Sony provides you with Vita game release dates. The email Vita app is very important if you'd like your PSTV to play more games that Sony allows ...
Not impressed that the author decided to make a no-games quip about Vita. That's not original or funny at this point.
If they bought Capcom they'd have to make another handheld and they clearly don't want to do that.
Vita is getting Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. If you want, you can import a version with English text from Play-Asia.
Talk about wasted potential.
How are they affording the VR game if they need to beg for money for this one?
Women will prevent rising game prices, increasingly exploitative business models, ballooning development budgets, worsening software sales, platform contraction, the decline of physical media, and narrower genre selection? Wow, who knew vaginas were that magical.
The graphics look 7% done. Yikes. Biggest visual downgrade for a sequel on stronger hardware ever?
The author of this article is being dumb. "We're demons" refers to MGSV, as mentioned, but the Twitter dig? He links to proof that it's been up there since October, well before the most recent #f**konami binge. It wasn't a rogue employee making commentary on the company's handling of Kojima. It was a joke meant to promote their most important release that was probably removed because people were saying, "Yeah, you're actually demons."
That doesn't mean it's actually being released today. All that means is that the PEGI rating went live today. Check out some other ones and you'll see the same thing. I'm not saying it won't come out today, but solely that this isn't proof it is.
Blame that on the mainstream games press who didn't play Steins;Gate, DanganRonpa: Another Episode, Superbeat Xonic, Monster Hunter 4U, Yo-Kai Watch, etc. Is it a coincidence that an awards ceremony that has never announced a game for handhelds is entirely ignorant to handheld gaming?
Yet they just released a collection with three games months before they launch a new one. Instead of a new game for Vita, Uncharted now has a 4 year gap between new games.
A former Bend employee posted this on Reddit last year: https://i.imgur.com/n8B0RHc...
The person's username matched someone credited in multiple Sony Bend games and they were a member of Reddit for years. So it's legit.
No surprise that Remote Play is garbage. Naughty Dog hates Vita. Before it even launched they said they had no interest in ever developing a game for it, and then they had the gull to block Sony Bend from making a Golden Abyss sequel.
Kind of cruel to tag Vita in Capcom posts given they're the second largest culprit responsible for it premature death.
Unfortunately I don't see anything about a release on Vita in the interview. Did he mention it during his presentation? I would love to see CE DX on it.
