It really does. R3 is the best in the series by quite a distance.
You should. It's fantastic!!
If you read our scoring policy, 10/10 doesn't mean perfect on our publication. We use the entirety of the review scale, otherwise it would be "X out of 9". We believe that if you use a scale of "out of 10" and we think that no game is "perfect" therefore you have to make use of the review scale, or it's worthless, and pointless.
Short version: 10/10 on GodisaGeek.com = The highest possible reccomendation, but not "Perfect".
I changed it to So Far. Thanks for your comment. You should check it out.
Wouldn't say it was *exactly* like Demon's Souls combat, but quite similar in that you need to be patient, and time your attacks as well as avoiding oncoming attacks with parrying and rolling etc.
It's just an extremely well put together game in all aspects to be honest, and nice to see PC gamers getting something special instead of the usual port over from the consoles.
Haha, know that feeling.
It's a shame really, because when you finally do get to play it, it's a really stunning game. Quite hardcore in terms of combat (think Demon's Souls, kinda) but one of the best games visually, in a long time!
It does require a fairly high-end machine. Two of our staff had to buy new graphics cards just to run it!
The Vita version could be very very exciting! :-)
New screenshots though - game is looking *stunning* don't you think?
We've set up a poll, as we're intruiged.
Have you actually played the game? Either on 360, PS3 or Wii?

What would your top 5's be guys/gals?
Fatal Frame deserves a mention purely for the vids of that guy on youtube screaming and crying! :-D
Indeed, though it's not as horrible as you might think! :-D
The GodisaGeek staff in attendance were hoping that the flapping sections wouldn't be too prevalent in the full game.
The way the game played, it really doesn't seem likely. The swordplay in particular is designed with motion plus in mind. Not to mention the camera controls, and plenty of other things.
Could be wrong, nothing is impossible - but we wouldn't bank on classic controller support.
It takes everything that Splosion Man was, and turns it up 1000 notches. So many new mechanics, and a working co-op (thanks to the beta).
800 points too, less than the price of a map pack these days!
Apologies for the release month typo! Definitely still October!
Haha, indeed.
We couldn't think of a more vital line of enquiry in today's gaming industry, glad you agree! ;-D
Some members of our team were "excited" about the game, but after seeing and hearing the details of this play session, almost all of us were uber-hyped! :-D
The Kinect support for FIFA 12 (IF shown) could be very interesting!
Wow, that will be awesome! If you are used to modern games, we'd strongly reccomend you change the controls to reflect that.
