forza 5 has been getting nothing but praise since it was first shown Halo 5 has not even been seen yet. and gears wont be returning. your post just reaks of desparation.
well, sure you can play it next year if your getting an XB1 or have a descent PC to play it on. It comes out next year in 2014.

microtransactions..old news. pretty sure there will be plenty of sales on XBL for this. I buy smartly..£16 (which is NOTHING to me) for the whole thing up front. the extra characters ill buy in sales...but ill be too busy playing forza 5 and evertyhing else, to play the waiting game. defense wasnt needed.

given that almost every game these days has some form of DLC micro transaction I hardly see this as news worthy.
Its public knowledge that they were giving away Xbox ones not just to journos but to attendees who were luck enough. Of course they wont get them till launch. Its just good will.

I think most indie games will end up on both platforms.
The world will quickly catch up...apple and google are taking notes and MS are watching them. they wont let apple/google beat them at bringing those ideas to market first.

I think MS needed the verbal bashing. seemed like the only way to get that message across as far as the DRM/always online stuff.I still think that should knock £50/$50/50 euros off the RRP to bring the price a little more inline with the competition.

Forza vs GT is like two rivals at their peak. even though I favour forza more these days, I still consider GT the only game that really is on that level with it.
I agree they do represent a VERY small set. I have bought platy of DLC over the years from maps torainbow six vegas right up to buying ecerything for borderlands2 in an XBL sale. I hears so many gamers on here saying they dont play DLC, dont pay to play online..and then champion F2P as if a bare bones game is really going to keep their interest without the extras the devs charge for.Which is where the devs make there money. and they are going to have all thee people on there servers not payin...

I suggest you take a look at MS Stock and sonys..trust me MS are NOT the ones in trouble right now.
He did a good job. But I think its time. MS needs younger leadership for the era of convergience that we are in.
They are expanding into a devices and services company so its only natural that they need new leadership for that shift. They have all the tools there. just need better leadership. Maybe a new CEO will bring a new attitude to the company as a whole.
They need to get a better grip on the mobile OS market, They need to make windows 9 more desktop centr...

Exactly..and the average console owner just wont buy into it. some have a hard enough time paying for a sub ( going by comments on N4G) so how many of them are then willing to pay $15 a month for elder scroll online? A couple of starter packs on planet side2 will cost you more than a retail game. How many of you are ready for that? Or to buy character skins xp booster pa...
what will be interesting to see is how many people download these free games and actually support them via microtransactions...if these companies cant make any money out of games that they give freely, they wont be around for long. And given the average n4g users general response to DLC that you have to pay for..the honey moon will soon be over.

planetside2 is fun..buts its no titanfall. I play planetside2 on my PC..its an ok game. not a great one.
