I use the M416, because I thought it was better than the M16. Im suprised to hear that people thought it was over powered.

I am fully aware. but that does not change the fact that japanes gamers have lost interest in console gaming in favour of portables.
Deep down= procedurally generated dungeon crawler. It will be big in the west. Japan wont care for it. Quote me on that.
Maybe when an FF, yakuza and some more japanese developed games come along. But I dont fancy any console manufacturers chances in japan, right now.
He has a point though. How many gamers became overnight computer and software engineers when it comes to specs. When I posted up the original and FACTUAL article from hotchips(via semiaccurate) each of those articles got 50- odd comments.as soon as rumours like "the secret sauce" popped up, N4g explodes over non factual rumours.

The bigger issue I see here is, the current trend with japanes gamers. They are not keen on consoles, never mind a the fact that its a foreign product.
even sony will have a bit of a rough ride in japan with ps4. especially since their current line up does not appeal to japanese gamers. They wont take to KZ ( or any other FPS) or drive club (or any other racer of its ilk. not even GT sells big numbers over their, so forza has no chance.)Then there is all these reports I been ...

I dont have a vita but would like to play some of those games. When Vita TV is available in the UK I will buy it.
hmm ..personally I still think they are wasting money trying to sell it to the japanese market. By all means, bring japanes games to Xbox..to the west. But japan can do without the Xbox..and MS can do just fine without selling a single console in japan.
EDIT: seriously, that budget they set aside to market in japan, would have been better spent making destiny an exclusive.

as somebody that used smart glass for forza horizon, Im all for a second screen. It can be hand for things like maps and invetory, without having to pause. In forza horizon for example, its a nice touch to just simply pull over in your tuned 911 and set a DPS destination. I can see the crew and need for speed doing this too.

I wont be suprised when X1 and PS4 emulators turn up. both are X86, so this will happen sooner or later.
