Got my Forza 5,BF4 and watchdogs pre ordered from play.com. Ill be buying KI at the flatrate on day one too. getting it all delivered too. SO all I have to do that week is make sure my fridge and cupboards are full..then I am going to be a full on gamer/slob for the week.I aint opening my front door to nobody except the parcel force guy.
its not so much about GOTY as it is about a steady stream of quality exclusive games to entice core gamers to the console. It benefits us as X1 customers and MS interms of making sure they get every core gamer they can.
There is nothing to defend..get off your horse, guy! Its an add aimed at a very specific market. And given those circumstances..why not advertise an NFL related feature during an NFL game? thats common sense.
yeah the same guy who submitted this article in another guiese eralier, going by his usual line of commentary I am thinking he posted this to get that whole "xbox is all about TV TV TV " argument going...when he posted it earlier though we all just ended up talking about football..was quite a refreshing change from the usual whos is better BS. But I dont think that is what he intended. he wanted a flame fest and ended up with a bunch of content Xbox guys posting about their fav team...
Smartest comment I read so far . This is how marketing works. I dont see the big deal. Not like this is the only commercial they have in store.

As an Xbox guy, I aggree with you. these are the things that they need to now work on.
The answer is simple:
Invest in new studios..and go shopping for some highly respected and talented ones. Approach a few unestablished indies and help em out..bring them into the fold. the result..a tonne of exclusive games.
I agree, sort of. A company as big as MS..they could have gone with a more pwerful GPU. sure it would have raised production costs, but I am saying this as somebody who is buying the X1 first, It would have made that £420/$500 price tag less of an issue. even if they were selling at a loss, the gains longterm of being in their position financially and having the most powerful console would have made life easier for them, especially after "180-gate" the most powerful console doe...
I think this was the reason I decided to get it on X1. I will be playing this with my buddies that I been plaing halo with these last 8 years. Bungie know their way around XBL too, they helped build it. It just feels right.

I recommend sky. I have the all in one packege which include TV, landline and broadband. The sky player app works like a dream on Xbox too. being able to watch football,f1 or a good movie while im in party chat is a blast. Some of my freinds use the kinect mic on 360..that shit is LOUD! could be that some of my freinds turn into lunatics when we watch football.

Thats the trick they need to master. There are two sides to xbox. they must make sure that both sides of it are in perfect unison.
As long as they keep pumping out exlusives like they do in the launch year, build a few more quality in-house dev studios..and lock down titanfall for the rest of the generation,and make every third party game available on their console. the gaming side will be fine.
The entertainment/media side..they got that in their pocket, ...
This is a gonna be a small and insignificate thing I am going to suggest...but I hope we get a voice controlled app for dominoes pizza.
Imagine playing a game/watching a match, snapping the dominoes app to the corner of the screen and ordering your pizza by just saying what you want via kinect, without having to deal with the annoying staff at your local dominoes?
That could be something I could get used that..and pizza is my my friday food every friday wi...

I agree with you sith. As a die hard halo player I see alot of halo in destiny, from the character movement to its combat mechanics. It just feels/seems familiar, but in a good way.

This +1. I remember people dissing halo 3 and reach, and just plain dissing bungie in general, on N4G. to be honest they were PS guys...and now they look at bungie in the same light that the rest of us have for years...
I think it will if it does not proce successful. If it does MS will pull out that cheque book. Titanfall is going to sell Xboxs next year, MS will look at the figures and that will decide if they put it in a gears type situation.
Respawn are publishing their game as an EA partner, meaning EA dont decide what platforms it goes too. EAs president, Frank Gibaeu has said that much in an interview.
Im not saying it wont..but I am saying that if this game sells x...
