Ill be running my skyHD box through X1. Got three HDMi ports on my TV, so I will be running PS4 into one of those.

Im saying this as a console gamer that has sampled the delights of PC gaming over the last 12 months..the PC version will rule them all. I will still buy it on the platform my friends all play it on.
I can definetly see that being the case for multiplatform games, now. Crossed my mind months back when both companies confirmed they were using custom AMD APUs. I think this is good for the development side of things as almost every dev out there has worked with X86.
Man..if you would have said cell was a bad idea back then, they would have sapped all your bubbles quicker than a bar of soap in a bath tub! lol
I agree though, I am glad they went with X86 too..and MS should have never ditched it in the first place, especially since they have gone back to it. in the next-next gen, assuming they keep with custom X86s, backwards compatibility should be extremely easy to do.

I played it on PC. I honestly dont see what the fuss is about with this game. looks nice thanks to my 560TI OC, but that is about all I can really say that I liked about this game.

The thing is most of us have gold account so we can play forza, halo, COD ,BF etc. online anyway. I am not buying an X1 just so I can play F2P games that I already play on my PC.I have a great PC so playing those games on high settings is nothing new to me. When I get my Ps4, it will be for the exlusives.

Its not about tit for tat, guys. but to be fair MS seem to listen when sony are saying the things that the rest of us want from them. We want MS to build up more studios, build a console with specs that will still suprise 8 years down the line. sony simply rub it in their faces for not listening to their userbase. I dont think sony are wrong for doing that, if it makes MS pull their finger out of their asses.In the long run it will teach MS to handle their Xbox business better.
@meerkat. makes sense. the vents are situated on the top of the console for heat to rise, as well as on the sides.Considering that they intend for it to be on for long periods, thats a sensible thing to do. They never designed it to stand sideways, so I dont know why they just dont say "it is intended to be placed horizontally" sounds less dramatic than "at your own risk".
