I think they are just squeezing as much performance. I also dont think they really intended to launch this year. but all things considered they are handling this better than sega in the run up to the launch of the saturn, which all this has echoes of.

Bring it back? it already exists everywhere else! I work in music production, and just about every bit of software and plug in buy requires some form of online activation or USB dongle (iLok, authorizer keys etc). I have a steam account on my PC, I cant sell or trade or loan any of the 14 games I bought. nor could I ever sell or trade any XBLA/PSN indie game, ever.

The underclock was a rumour. much like the 12GB rumour. Both were dismissed by albert panello on NeoGaf. This was after he got his head bit off over the specs, but to be fair he took it in his stride and they were not giving him an easy ride AT ALL! Some were personally attacking him. Honestly I think that score is too generous. I downloaded this and was pretty disappointed. the car handling is a bit sluggish, and it dont feel like ridge racer.

I went on saturday. And let me just say...Titanfall is the TRUTH! Believe the hype! I honestly cant play any current FPS anymore..except for BF4, which I also played on X1. When I got home I signed in to XBL set up a forge world on halo4 and proceeded to tell my clan some good news!
Whatever console you buy in november, you guys will be happy with. trust me!
PS4 version "disappoints"? blame the X1..I see a trend here on N4G.. But Im thinking you guys are over estimating the PS4. Its more powerful than the X1 for sure...but when all is said and and done...these are AMD jaguar APUs.. Im just going to say, you guys should lower your expectations a little bit. Seriously if you want guaranteed 1080P everything..get a PC.

you actually care for BF4 single player? personally I always thought story was DICE, weakspot as far as BF games go. I like the characters in bad company and their constant banter, though. But the story itself was a bit...plain.
Mantel works on both X1 and PS4, so maybe DICE will fully utilise for mirrors edge, BF5/bad company3 or whatever else they have in the pipeline.

I dont see that happening.COD outsells every FPS every time they launch a new version. That said I would be pleasantly suprised if COD undersells this year..

I would have to dissagree, because twitch shooters have been around forever...quake, unreal, counter strike..and of course halo..all past paced twitch shooters that require skill.
And by "professional gamers" do you mean MLG/game battles, participants? or just people that play Battlefield/rainbow six, in clans?

KZ has great graphics. The muliplayer has never been anything special. KZ is the last game they need to worry about...COD? yeah. Halo? yup. BF4? absolutely! But outside of the PS hardcore, nobody really talks about KZ like that.

I have mine connected to two 28" LG IPS screens. I mainly use my computer for music creation and mixing, so I dont really need a big screen for my computer. That said, I am considering an all AMD steam machine ( AMD,CPU/GPU/RAM) for my living room. My PC games look amazing on my 32s. It would blow me away on a 72". Go for it! variety is the spice of life! ;)
See this is why I personally prefer a 5 year cycle. seven is about as long as I want this gen to go before they announce new consoles.

good point. It wouldnt be so bad if they had a steady stream of good third party games. maybe even some more hardcore third party games like wonderful 101 and bayonetta 2. they need a lot more of that in addition to their big hitters right now.
As for X1 vs PS4. I prefer the X1 launch line up more so Im buying it first. plus thats the one most of my freinds and my entire clan are going to. I will buy my Ps4 when infamous comes out. That said, I think sony are going to beat MS du...
