Am I the only one that sees that this screams Vita with cross play with the PS3? I loved the trailer and after seeing the Deep Sliver logo, I know we are in for a ride.
I agree. This thread on Neogaf proves why I'm going to wait until Sony and Microsoft announces their next gen systems, with their respective specifications.

@cleverusername, I didn't say anything about buying one system over the other. I said the timed exclusive content (Demo) would get people (who already owns a 360) to buy the game on that platform and not the PS3.
I liked playing Mindjack; It was a great concept, but it was poorly executed. Maybe their next shooter will do better overall.
On a 3D(S) Screen and a OLED(Vita) screen would be awesome. Even if those came later, I would be happy.
I would just love a new Viewtiful Joe game in General.
We are talking exclusive JRPGs for the PS3 and exclusives in general for the PS3, not all JRPGs released in general. So, there was no reason to bring Xenoblade into this.
For the span of the PS3's life cycle this Generation, it has been one of the best.
The game is really only the same up to a point and by name. Here is a vague comment made by one of the producers:
"Ni no Kuni: Queen of the Holy White Ash’s story will start out the same as the Nintendo DS version’s, but will be told differently after the halfway point. Hino says Queen of the Holy White Ash’s story will continue after the DS version’s, and that the game will also have post-release downloadable content."

The red one will be bundled with God of War: Ascension in Europe at some point. The blue one is still up in the air, but Sly would go great with that. Sony is slowly bringing new colors overseas, even if it's not in NA yet.
In it's Genre, I think it is. As a whole, it's on of the best PS3 exclusives this Generation.
"As a special treat to their fans, Namco Bandai has announced that they will be temporarily re-stocking the Wizard Edition tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. PST. Since this offer is only available tomorrow, you’re gonna want to act fast, those supplies could go quickly."

"Aston Martin DB9… that’s not really a racing car that’s just pornography."
Hardcore gamers don't forget about past consoles. They keep them and go back to them every now and then, when there new console has nothing for them to play or they want some nostalgia from past games.
I didn't know that. I guess that's a reason why a lot of fans are mad that there weren't a lot of characters in PSASBR.
I guess the month of release can mean something, but why such a long delay? That delay could also mean that there isn't new consoles coming. It's pure speculation for now, right?
I'm really liking the new Splinter Cell trailer.
That is the type of Independence they wanted. They wanted to make cross platform title(s) and now they can. While we won't ever see a new Resistance from them, it does open the opportunity for a developer that is a fan of the series to take it upon themselves to expand the series. Similar to how Sanzaru is making Sly.
I thought the developers owned their IPs when it comes to Sony, I guess that is not the case for Insomniac?
For right now, yes, a Wii U is required to use Miiverse. It will be coming to Mobile devices and the 3DS some time in the future.
I didn't know the PlayStation mobile store was universal. Samurai Beatdown shows up free for me, but I bought it when PSM first launched, so my lost. I'm in the US, if it matters.
They are doing this to speed up hardware development. From the alternative article.
"The hope is that by merging these two divisions, the company will also be able to speed up its hardware development cycle to better compete with tablets and smartphones."
It looks like we will be seeing Next Gen Hardware from Nintendo more often. They don't plan on leaving the console race and I'm happy they don't plan to leave either.
Maybe PSASBR and Sly Cooper together at some point for family and younger gamers.
Or maybe for Adults and this one might be exclusive to Europeans, Beyond: Two Souls.
