Maybe catch up on those free downloadable PSN+ titles, catch up on some Single player games (Complete your backlog), read a book/magazine or at the very least if you don't have a job, go find one (In general not directed towards you).
Tuesday and Wednesday are the worst days to do Maintenance on. That is when the store updates in NA and EU, respectively. I would take a Sunday to early morning Tuesday to get maintenance done, than any other day.
The Truth. Is the game a big difference from the second one, Does Kinect Support really make a difference. How is the Single player, does it draw you in like Dead Space one and the ending of Dead Space 2.
Dead Space 2 should on a list where the MP wasn't needed and I think Spec Ops: The line fits under that category. The other 3 games you listed don't need to be on that list.

I think that is what makes the PS3 so unique. Then again, Nintendo did have some new ones and Microsoft did have some new ones as well; Alan Wake being my all time favorite on the console.
But hands down I like Sony's First party titles more because a lot of them are new or different experiences on the console.

I would love to see another Scarface game, Maybe the Godfather and another Mafia game in the series. General speaking, not just on the Vita.
I would really love to see a remake or at least an HD release of Dragon Quest 8. We are getting 7, so why not release 8 for the Vita and PS3. You can throw in a 3DS version as well.
I am just happy we have Level 5, NIS and Atlus to cater to our needs.
I feel like a lot of these sites are being one sided when it comes to the 3DS and Vita comparisons of games, This guy has missed a few Vita titles, but mentioned a great deal (All of which are amazing in there own way) of 3DS games, but only a handful of Vita titles. He listed a few that might get localized, but didn't do so for the Vita.

I just said it has me questioning the notion to pick the game up on the first day of release. I can still be a fan and get it days or months after. I did it with Uncharted 2 and we all know how well received the MP was.
Trophies and achivement play no factor in me purchasing a game or enjoying it. If it did, I would never purchase a JRPG, WRPG or RPGs in general.

I would purchase a new vita just to have a retail version of a demo. Hopefully SCEA will do something like this with Killzone or another high profile title.
These achievements indicate how the trophies will be and from the looks of it, you will need to obtain all the MP trophies as well as the SP trophies to get the Platinum.
15 of the 50 achievements/51 trophies are MP related. With the trophy/achievement to reach level 60 taking the longest. I have been a fan of the series, but with the introduction of MP, has me questioning if I really want to pick this up day one.
They could also be trying to get a leg up on Sony and Nintendo, by having this event before GDC, to grab up some new talent to develop for their console.
This works for Microsoft and maybe they will show off or hint at something for their next console.
I usually don't have a problem connecting back after their maintenance has been done when they originally specify. Also remember there are people already connect to the PSN if they were signed on prior to the start of the maintenance.
I don't mean big in features, but big in stability and other functions of the network.
I think every PS3 Exclusive has a chance of winner an award from somewhere this year. The 360 has Gears to earn a Shooter award. And the Wii U has the chance of returning classics award and a few other awards as well. Remember I'm talking just exlcuisves and games that we know that are coming this year.
I would love for Ni No Kuni to win GOTY, at least Best Original Score, or Best RPG.
