A console with about 5 or so years of R&D is rushed? I would love to see what you called the 360 at it's launch (Not a jab at the 360 or Microsoft, just a general statement).

Where was the reason to write an article about it when you have the tweet saying its a placeholder. Its one thing if you wrote it before the tweet and if it was a follow up article or an update to the preexisting article, but it was neither of the two.

I think this is just running off of 4GB of ram and not the 8 mentioned at the event. That is the way it comes off, by how a lot of the developers were surprised that the system has 8 GB of GDDR5 Ram.

You are right. I never had to import games from the PS1/PS2 days nor did I have the money to import. But also back then we seen more games localized for the PS1/PS2.
I was thinking more PS3, PSP and Vita. So, I guess that is not every console.
Its coming to the Vita sometime this year. Summer or fall of this year. I'm personally waiting for the Vita version, but if it goes on sale on the PSN before then, I will just get it for the PS3, until the Vita version is released.
I was happy to see it wasn't a staged demo. And people can see that it was real gameplay. Seeing Jimmy and Anthony play the game, was funny. I can't wait for the launch and to enjoy this new Killzone.
Edit: I agree they should get more recognition; They are great developers and their games look gorgeous from a console gamers perspective.
I remember working at Gamestop and having a lady come up to one of my co-workers and asked how much is a PS3 and he told her $300 and she asked why so much, Walmart has it for 299.99.

We nor Sony will hear the end of this. We haven't seen the box, but we know there will be one. Its not like the box is what makes the game playable nor is it the thing we look at majority of the time we are playing games.
After all these years, if you haven't gotten use to it. Just wait a few weeks, sometimes less and get it for 40-50 dollars.
That's if they do one. Remember they didn't do one for the Wii U. And that had a great deal of reservations.

I hope it means cheaper development cost which means more games or more unique experiences in new IPs or existing ones.
They mention Consoles and Handhelds. Could this be a PS3, PS4 and maybe Wii U, 360 and 720 game for consoles? Vita and 3DS for Handhelds?
Gaikai is integrated into the PS4. So the PS4 will work as a client and do all the work while the info/game will be streamed to the Vita seamlessly.

Every Sony console has been region free, why stop now? I love playing Japanese games that have little to no chance of being localized. If they release more games from Japan more often in EU/NA, then I guess it won't be as bad. But I doubt they would do that.

In a way they are. One is a launch title and the other is not. While we don't know how long X has been in development, we know they had the final hardware longer than GG did for the PS4.
Also it's best to compare an RPG to a RPG, not a FPS to a RPG.
I agree. There was nothing there that screamed day one. It looked more like tech demo, but I don't know if I would call it a PS4 tech demo. I'm sure it will develop and become something great.
I enjoyed knack, more so after seeing it being played on the Vita.
I watched the first hour again on my way to work and I can't believe that they started looking into making a new console 2 years after the launch of the PS3. That means they really are listening to developers and taking in the consumer feedback on this one.
