The general public doesn't. If they purchased a game in the same series or franchise, they will mostly likely purchase the next game if they liked and enjoyed the one before it. It also comes down to the developer and the games they made in the past.
People tend to worry more about reviews and the score when its a new IP. At least that is what I have gathered. Look at COD and AC on the Vita. And Sleeping Dogs and Dishonored. Both sold well, but the Vita games got low revi...
Not really, Lego City will do well because it's a Lego game and they tend to sell well. I don't know System seller well, but this is the first Lego game to be exclusive to a a console. And it's a Nintendo published title, I expect some legs on this. And it's price reasonably.
Monster Hunter could do okay, but it's also on the 3DS, so that may do more harm then good.
You got N4S:MW, the best version on consoles, its late but hey you never k...
This is not a flame bait comment or anything, just an observation. From the lack of games for the past 2 months and the updates to improve the system with load times and other stuff, it seems like Nintendo released the console too early.
The load times were bad when it first released and the update did take a while, but that could be due to the amount of people downloading the update. Now that the update is on the console and it only took a few months, I think Nintendo could ...
$50 dollars off really is a big deal. It determines if you will buy a game with the console or two and since you need a memory card to play most games, getting one of them eases the blow to you wallet, pocket or bank account.
It goes from paying 400 dollars with one game to paying 400 dollars with 2 games and maybe a PlayStation plus subscription.
It's a perceived value. Most would rather see 199.99 than 249.99 with 50 back as a gift card or something and...
He never said anything about the PS4. He spoke more about Nintendo and Microsoft, than he did about PlayStation. He did mentioned development cost on consoles and how it cost zero dollars to put a game on Steam.
I think he was talking more about the next Xbox, than the PS4. The writer should change the title and put next Generation consoles and not just PS4.
“Imagine if we got put in another situation like with Xbox where we were nailed down to this contract ...
It might be because of the name or the fact that it has been a while since we had a real Tomb Raider game. But I really think this proves that a woman can be on the front of a cover and the game will still sell well.
Congrats Lora, hope to see you again. is the digital sales considered into this?
If you do let us know.
Get on this. Worth every penny if you have Plus.
I think you should watch their stocks before jumping into it. See how well their stocks do next week or the week after God of War comes out, if you want to invest into their gaming division.
After that you can base you buy in from that, I expect their stock prices to go up and you could make money after GOW:A releases. I expect their it to go up after the release of the console based off the price given at E3, which it can go up at that time to. Once a price of an worldwide p...
The Video show more gameplay, but little spoilers. The fact that you can find the Hidden chest to upgrade you health and stuff easier than the past games, makes me a little mad. I love the previous games where you had to really explore to find the Gorgan eyes and stuff, that is what helped with the replay value.
They kind of praise the MP, but kind of takes it back. I don't know. Nonetheless, I will still get the game. Tuesday can't come soon enough.
I don't know much about the Xperia Z apart from what I have read on tech Sites and stuff, but I'm really looking forward to the phone coming to North America. I don't know much about the UI or how it compares to other smart phones, but I really want it because of the fact that I can use the phone at anytime without worrying if the rain will damage it or if the water from the sink it mess it up.
I even want their new Tablet. After seeing this video ( 4734d ago 15 agree1 disagreeView comment
Wasn't that date given when they pushed it back last month or the month before.
Here is a link to the message boards on IGN, that show how long it took some people to beat the game (GOW3) on Normal through Titan mode.

As you can see, it took some 8 to 14 hours and it depended on difficulty. And there is one comment that sticks out, "I plowed through in just under 8. I had limited time and I didn't explore (
I don't know who you are referring to, but GOW3 was about the same length as GOWA if played on the easy or normal difficulty, so the MP in Ascension didn't detract from the SP length.
If you played the demo or the beta, you would know they are both solid attributes to the game and neither one detracts or makes the other bad additions.
EDIT@ Below, Hufandpuf. You can argue all you want, but if you played the game on easy or normal, you could beat the g...
So, it will take me about 12 or so hours to complete the game on Hard. Plus it's GOW, so it will have replay value. They said Metal Gear Rising would take 5 hours and it took me longer than that.
You play single player titles to enjoy the story, not to rush through it. I wonder what level did the reviewer play on.
Exactly. This isn't any error and if it was, they would have fixed it.
I think with the recent issue with the information being tagged on Tomb Raider and stuff like this being presented, it will look bad for Sony, because they went ahead of Microsoft to announce their console.
I hope its just twisting words. Because stuff like this has me worried about next gen. I hate to be forced to be connected to the network just to play a single player title. And it would suck for those that don't have a internet connection at all.
You come off mad that the Vita is selling better than it has in the past weeks.
For all we know the DLC could be free. They mentioned before that DLC with quests will be paid DLC, but things can change.
