Didn't Shenmue 1 cost about 47 million dollars to make and the second one cost about 70 million? That is close to 65 to 100 million in today's US dollars. I truly doubt it being a Wii U exclusives, I doubt it being exclusive to any platform at this point.
They will release the games on as many platforms as they can to make up every dollar invested into the game.
If this was exclusive to the Wii U, this game would push some serious consoles sales.
Neogaf seems to be excited about the game, at least from majority of the users on gaf from the thread I was reading.
It would have been nice if you would have linked the post that mentions that and maybe even play the demo yourself to see if that person was just trolling or something.
If they are priced at 70 dollars in the US, you will see a lot of people waiting for a price drop to purchase games and less people buying at release. I would forget about buying my games digital as well.
That would mean Nintendo's home console again will have the lower priced games this coming generation when all next gen systems are released.
It could be another Uncharted, maybe a Syphon Filter or a new IP. I would take a new Syphon Filter or a new IP for this year and maybe another uncharted next year (One year between Uncharted games on the vita is too much).
I think it could be a year or two, since the Vita is a lot easier to developer for than the PS3. But it all comes down to, if they already had a concept and story before completing and shipping Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Killzone Mercenary has been in product...
I just looked it up and seen that it was released a year later on the PS1 (1998) after the release of the N64 (1997) version.
Those are all the wrong, but good questions. The real question is when will it be released? We can get all that information tomorrow and not be able to play it until next year or later this year. It's the waiting time to play/purchase the game that gets to you, not the waiting for the game to be announced.
I don't know if you played Uncharted Golden Abyss, but the game was great minus the touch controls. But the touch controls was there because it was a launch title and they wanted to show off the features of the Vita.
The God of war games on the PSP were great (Ghost of Sparta being the better of the 2, IMO) and if you played any of them, you would like to see another one on the handheld platform.
Assassin's Creed on the Vita was great, it's just t...
I didn't even know this was on the PS1 back then, I played it on the N64 many years back and enjoyed it very much.
Couldn't they just used the word downtime instead of outage?
Same, but I would like to refer to the next Xbox's specs without mentioning rumor before it.
Seeing how this is a behind closed door event, I doubt we will hear or see the console until the April or so event. Hopefully some leaks and confirmation about the system.
With the promotion going on through the PSN/SEN; Spend 50 dollars get 10 dollars back, I think I'm more inclined to purchase Tomb Raider from the PSN store.
If I'm a console gamer, I don't need to compare my console to a gaming PC. Most gamers or people that purchase consoles, are not worried about what the differences between the games they can be played on a console that they are buying and what can be achievable on a PC that they had no prior knowledge of.
I'm not trying to say console gamers lack the knowledge, but they don't care because they don't know. I could've bought a PS3/360 for 400 dollars a f...
Her voice is a little annoying when she announces the winner.
Watching those videos mad me a believer that they have made a better game than Mortal Kombat 9. April can't come soon enough.
What is the size limit of Xbox 360 digital add-on/DLC? How big is this Mass effect 3 DLC?
Where did you hear the next Xbox was being worked on since 2006? I know the PS4 was being worked on since 2008 or 5 years before the announcement.
They just need to have PlayStation Mobile available in more countries and regions. It's not out everywhere, so sales will always look bad. The problem is Sony released the platform (PSM) in limited regions, holding the platform back from growing.
Just look how one day we hear how some digital games sell better on the Vita then on the PS3, but a day or two later we PSM games don't sell as well.
It all comes down to availability. The one thing I hope So...
MLB 13: The Show is almost 4 times the digital size of Naruto on the PS3, if downloaded. This is nothing compared to the Game of the year edition of Uncharted 3 digital.
Info is from the US PlayStation Blog and the recent Blogcast from the PS blog.
I understand where you are coming from, but will the inclusion of being able to play CDs really make the system play PS4 games better or would it really make a difference on how you play games on it. It seems like you want a Multimedia device, than a gaming system. As a gamer, as long as the GAME SYSTEM plays games and I can enjoy playing the game that I buy on it, I don't care if it plays CDs or not.
Times has changed and most of us have moved our CDs on to our computers...
While it is a place holder the date is not to far out there to not be real. The game was revealed in 2011, so that means it was in development before then. 2012 was when Atlus got the publishing rights, but the developer stayed the same. So, I don't think development got pushed back that far. It was scheduled to have a spring 2012 release, so a summer release for 2013 is not really out of the question, even if it is just one region.
"No Drake. You Can´t Have These(Collect all Artifacts in the game)"
Awesome trophy title. It's awesome when development teams get along and do stuff like this. Day one purchase of the Legacy bundle.
