I will be attending as many as I can. I like them and you can meet new people; those people that only come out once a year to pick up their annually sports, racing and/or shooter game etc. Midnights are where the best MP games start and sometimes there are tournaments and stuff. Can't wait for Gears!!!!
I also like to get my game 10 hours before the store opens for the normal work day.

Most people that buy COD, don't even buy it for the Campaign. They buy it for the MP.
So, no, COD doesn't have the best campaign and no it doesn't have replay value (when you don't consider the MP). Hell COD won't sell for squat if it didn't have a MP. Most people that buy COD or other shooters for pay for half a game.
They are used to the name and hell COD will still sell if it was called COD: Blank Disc and hand nothing on it.
You would still need Xbox Live to use Onlive, so Microsoft will still make money. And there are still a lot of us that like to have a Disc in front of us and not wait for it to download or stream as we play. I like offline gaming more than online.
I thought COD has always been a 5-plat release. Well at least it was for Black Ops.

Why is that whenever I see one article about BF3 a day or every other day, it crushes every article I see about COD MW3? Maybe it's because I like BF3 more or it's due to seeing nothing really different in COD than a few vehicles and locations.

Here is a some gameplay on the 360 version. IMO, it looks very well done and looks like they put a lot of time into getting the game over to consoles. This doesn't look like just a port.

Not going to happen. Microsoft Published Mass effect on the Xbox 360, not EA (They did on PC, but that is another story). EA Got the rights to the Mass effect series after buying Bioware. Making ME2 a timed Exclusive.
In all I would really like ME on the PS3, to complete the series on one platform of my choice, but as of now that will have to be done on the 360 or PC.

It's a release estimate and not a confirmed, concrete release date that will not see any delays.
Wait until we see some real gameplay videos, it will put the COD vs. BF3 articles to rest. I couldn't be excited because I'm expecting an announcement of a delayed release with a concrete release day in May. I'm not going to lie, that MW3 trailer did look good and but it didn't give off that same feeling as the BF3 trailer did.
You do see that COD is a faster paced game and BF3 is a normal paced game that works well with the amount of action that is happening around you. As the author said, the only way to know which one is for you is to play them both.
I also want to add that you can still use them while they are charging. Mines died and I plugged them into my laptop and they worked while it was plugged in. The light on the mic turns red. Blue when it's on.
There is no USB cable that comes with it, but it charges from any USB that you have. Even the charger that comes with the Blackberry.
I also don't know how well they work with people who wear glasses but the ear cups have some soft pads that mig...
I have mine and they work very well with my PS3 and PC. The mic when it extends is kind of loose, but you are not really going to be messing with it much since there is little reason to extend it. My friends can hear me when it's not extended and the ear cups is awesome. They fit nicely and I can hear a lot from them. They are loud but also not that loud that it will wake up anyone that is in the same room as you.

I found this to be so funny. Of course R3 will sell better on the PS3, since it's not on the 360. But we all know that Dead island will be getting the last laugh. Multiple platforms. I'm enjoying R3 a lot more than DI.
This is also a away for Apple to make money. Do you think Jobs would be okay with this if he was still CEO? I don't know either, but as you said "it was only a matter of time before something like this happens." I just think Gamestop is trying to broaden what they sell and buy.

I'm in the US. Gamestop has the release date as the 6th, same as resistance 3. Walmart and Bestbu should have them as well.
I already have the game (After midnight, there was a midnight release). I also bought the 7.1 Surround sound and both are awesome. The game is amazing and the sound quality of the Headset works well with Resistance.
